A quick and simple take on regular mashed potatoes


Ingredients (serves 1)

  • 1 medium potato
  • 2 tbl spoons grated cheese
  • 1/4 tsp vegemite

Method

  1. Peel, cut and steam potatoes until soft.
  2. Mash until you reach desired consistency.
  3. Add cheese and vegemite and mix well.

Notes

This recipe can be altered to suit different aged and tastes. It's also great for hiding veggies, my kids love it with zucchini and cauliflower added.

  • This is different. I would certainly add more veggies to make it healthy. Add cheese to almost anything and I’ll eat it!

  • I often add cheese to my veggie mash. I would bulk this up a bit with extra veggies, gotta get the veg into the little ones
