Pasta bakes are always a hit with the kids!
Ingredients (serves 8)
- 500gm Pasta
- 3 Spring onion
- 8 rashes Short cut bacon
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 L Milk
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 200gm Cheese
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees. To cook sauce: melt butter and add flour. Cook for one minute. Add milk in batches continually stirring, simmer for 5 minutes. Add cheese and simmer for 5 minutes. Sauce should thicken. Set aside.
- Cook pasta according to instructions.
- Chop bacon and onion and add to pan. Cook for 4 minutes.
- Combine pasta, bacon and onion in a dish and cover with the sauce. Cook for 20 minutes on 180 degrees until golden brown.
Try any pasta you like. Great served with veggies and steak.
