Love pavlovas. They are favourites at parties and usually go first. Make sure you put separated whites and eggs in separate cups so you don't get any yoke in the egg whites or the whites won't set. You can add food colouring to change the colour of the base if you want.

  • Sounds easy – my recipe uses a teaspoon of cornflour added to the mix.

  • I have never made a pavlova. Always the ready made. Will have to try this and hope for success.

    • Ready made pavlova has a taste that cannot be compared – always best eaten quickly!

  • I’m such a cheat..I always buy the premade ones from the supermarket! :-/ Really have to start making my own again!

  • mine always crack……

  • Sounds really easy actually

  • Never tried making this before. Thanks for the recipe!

  • I also find that a super clean bowl is important in making sure the meringue is nice and peaky!

  • Would love to know how to make one without cracking

    • Turn the oven temp down just a little. About 1/4 teaspoon of white vinegar and vanilla can also help make a wonderful crispy pavlova with a wonderful marshmallow middle.

  • awesome – mine always cracks…

  • I always fail at pavlova….definitely trying this one

  • Have always wanted to try this but have lacked the courage and probably skill!

  • I love the idea of adding food colouring to change the colour of the base

  • Or even eat it plan yummy

  • I have never made a pavlova. I would love to try it. I hope it turns out lol.

    • Just make sure there is no egg yoke in the white or it won’t turn out

  • so quick easy and simple.
