Great little snack for adults or your kids! Tastes like cookie dough, but loaded with protein and good ingredients.

Ingredients (makes 25 Protein Balls)

  • 1 1/2 cup Oats
  • 1 1/2 cup Shredded Coconut
  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Chia Seeds
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

  1. In blender blend oats and coconut to a more fine but still coarse texture .
  2. Add all ingredients into bowl. Mix until all ingredients are all incorporated and evenly distributed. If the mixture is too dry, add more peanut butter and/or honey.
  3. Roll into a ball the size of your preference. Place on parchment lined cookie sheet. Place in freezer for two hours. Remove and place into an air tight container.
  4. Store in fridge for 1-2 weeks. Freezer for 3 months.

  • I like this recipe, but it’s so hard for me to stand for long enough to make balls of anything.

  • What a great recipe. I need to try this one for my vegetarian kids. Its always good to have extra protein for them :)

  • These look interesting and i am sure are delicious for those that love peanut butter

  • I love chia seeds, I just hate that they get stuck in my teeth all the time lol.
But will definitely try this (minus the coconut) as it sounds delish!

  • This sounds delicious. I’m trying very hard not to buy packaged snacks so these will be easy to make and tasty too! Thanks for sharing!

  • These would be great for a day out, easy to pack in a small lunch box and will keep you full and energized. I’ll have to give them a go. A change from the homemade muesli bars.

  • I’m not a fan of peanut butter. But might try for my kids.

  • Great idea for an at home snack – obvs not school safe.

  • Oh these look amazing! Will use almond butter instead because of allergies…

  • Thanks for sharing, my daughter will LOVE these !

    • And the good thing is she has buckets of protein powder (something I usually don’t buy myself)

  • These sound yum!

  • I love peanut butter in recipes and these sweet balls sound yummy!

    • Many of my favorite ingredients are in these balls; including coconut and honey.
