Peppermint balls are a delicious treat for when friends come over.


Ingredients (serves 10)

  • 1 tin Condensed milk
  • 1 Packet Malt biscuits
  • 1 packet Crown Mints
  • 1 cup Coconut
  • 3 Tbsp Cocoa

Method

  1. Crush malt biscuits and crown mints.
  2. Add cocoa and condensed milk.
  3. Mix together and roll into logs or balls and coat in coconut, refrigerate for 2 hours and enjoy!

Notes

My mum used to make this for us as kids, I now make it for my kids.

  • My Gran would make peppermint balls and Rum balls each Christmas.

  • Peppermint anything is my favourite. I have tried a version of mint truffles and loved them. There was a lot of sweet chocolately stuff involved though, so I much prefer this recipe.

    • They are a round flat mint that you find in the lolly section of any supermarket :)
