A quick stew that’s perfect for those cold, wintery nights.

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 2kg pork shoulder, boneless and rind removed
  • 2 medium onions
  • 3 carrots, sliced
  • 1/3 cup BBQ sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp chilli powder
  • 1/4 tbsp salt
  • 1/4 tbsp pepper
  • 3/4 cup water

Method

  1. Saute onions and garlic on the SAUTE HIGH TEMP in the Philips All-In-One Cooker for 2 mins. Add the carrots and the pork.
  2. Mix the spices and everything else in another bowl and stir well. Add to pork and vegetables in the multicooker
  3. Set to pressure cooker for 1 hour. Once it's done, release the steam. Remove pork and shred to pieces like pulled pork. Place back into the sauce. If it is too watery you can add some corn flour to thicken or stir for 10 mins on SAUTE HIGH TEMP setting. Serve with rice or bread. Enjoy!

  • Yum! This looks fantastic! I’ve made pulled pork before but it didn’t have any vegies and wasn’t super spicy. This looks like a better recipe. Thanks!
