Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cup Plain Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Oats
  • 3/4 cup Red and Green M&Ms
  • 3/4 cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup White Sugar
  • 1 Egg (slightly beaten)
  • 1/2 cup Butter (softened)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence

Method

  1. Preheat Oven to 180 degrees
  2. Pour All Ingriedients out of jar and into a mixing bowl
  3. Mix in 1 lightly whisked egg, 1 teaspoon of Vanilla Essence and 1/2 cup of soft butter
  4. Mix all together using clean hands & Make small 20c size round balls
  5. Put on Baking Paper Lined Tray -Approx 5cm apart
  6. Bake for 10-15 minutes
  7. Let sit on the bench to harden

  • Not a bad idea for a gift with instructions or to keep in the pantry for for an easy to go for snack.

  • What a clever idea for Christmas gifts. Especially handy for teacher’s gifts or for people who live on their own, or for people on a budget who might not be able to afford to buy big packets of ingredients. This will come in very handy next Christmas.
