This oat slice is very quick and easy, perfect for lunch boxes.
Ingredients (makes 1 Cake tin)
- 250g Oats
- 125g Butter
- 125g Golden syrup
- 75g Brown sugar
- Preheat oven to 170 degrees. Line a square cake tin with baking paper.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, sugar and golden syrup until it becomes a liquid. Stir to combine.
- Mix in the oats to the butter mixture. Pour into tin and bake for approximately 30 minutes. Leave to cool and slice.
Dried fruit can be added with the oats.
