Morning tea, afternoon tea or even breakfast, “Smiles” the fruit face is one of my toddlers favourite snacks. Always puts a smile on their faces.
Ingredients (serves 1 | makes 1 Fruit face)
- 1/2 Apple
- 1/2 Banana
- 1/2 Mandarin
Notes... The fruits you can use are limitless, just see whats in season or what's in your fruit bowl. You can also add nuts.
- Slice Apple across the core to cut Apple into rings. Place sultanas on top of the Apple rings to make "Smiles" pupils.
- Cut a wedge of Apple to make "Smiles" nose. Place in middle of plate.
- Cut banana into rounds and lay in a smiley shape at the bottom of the plate to make "Smiles" mouth.
- Peel a mandarin and arrange wedges on top of the plate to make "Smiles" hair.
