Sugared biscuits

5 Ingredients

A really nice tea biscuit.

Ingredients (serves 20)

375g Plain flour
250g Butter
125g caster sugar
pinch salt
icing sugar for top

Method

Preheat oven to 170C.
Beat together the butter and sugar and then add the flour and salt.
Roll out onto a floured surface and cut into shapes and put on baking tray.
Bake in oven for 10 minutes. Then turn it down to 150 C for last bit of cooking approx 5 minutes.
Cool then sift icing sugar over them. Store in an air tight container between sheets of baking paper.

  Will use some other cookie cutters too – moon shaped ones will look good with the stars.
