Perfect for a hot, summer Aussie BBQ!

Ingredients (serves 5)

  • 1 kg green prawn
  • 1 tub Vegemite
  • 1 pack Skewers
  • 3 tbs butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic


  1. Leave green prawns in shell and smother in Vegemite, butter and garlic
  2. Place on Skewers then cook on the BBQ for 3 minutes each side, or until cooked.

  • I do love eating prawns and this recipe sounds simple and delicious.


  • This actually sounds very tasty so I’ll give it a try. I love both and can imagine them together.


  • I’m not a big prawn fan, absolutely love Vegemite tho. Simple recipe for those that like prawns


  • Shouldn’t knock it before I try it but doesn’t look very appealing. The salt content would be very high.
