  • Perfect for overnight dryness

    Wow first these nappies keep bubs bottom dry. It holds alot of moisture without leakage or leaving absorbent crystals on the skin.

    The wetness indicator line is great when wanting to check if bubs is wet.

    The Disney patterns are so cute and make a great addition to boring nappies.

    Overall would highly recommend these nappies to all.

  • HUGGIES ULTRA DRY

    I love the Huggies ULTRA DRY. I wasn't sure if I could justify the cost when also nappies are half the price but these are twice as soft and very absorbent. They are nice and snug around the legs. Haven't had a leak with these and my baby gets no nappy rash. Recommend all mums to use it. (you can see in the photo that she is happy wearing the nappy)

    Since my son was born we have always used huggies and have never had any issues with rashes or leakage etc now my son is 4 and he loves the napoy pants especially overnight. He was comfortable and weve had no accidents. Would highly recommend to any new mum or mums that struggle with rashes or leakage you can always count on huggies.

  • Huggies Nappypants - an honest review

    The first thing that caught my attention when I opened the pack of nappies was how soft they were. They felt so smooth I was wondering how absorbent they would be and a bit sceptical about them as opposed to a nappy overnight. Well, was I pleasantly surprised at their durability and absorbency the next morning.

    Surely, I thought, I’ll need a barrier cream for a red and irritated backside though? Nope, guess again! Ok, the elastic would have bothered him all night? No, again and I was quite impressed with how strong yet gentle it was. Perfect amount of flexibility for dressing a wriggly toddler.

    Nappies are one of those things I thought I would never be impressed by. You use them and dispose them. Repeat. Huggies Nappypants have changed that for me. These are the ones I will recommend to everyone

  • Where have you been all my life?

    I wish I had discovered huggies nappy pants with my first child! I’ll never go back! So much easier to put on that a traditional nappy,

    Especially with a wriggly baby!

    I would recommend going up a size as my son is size 4 in regular nappies but had red marks and tightness around the bottom with nappy pants.

  • Soft material and flexi waistline and very absorbent

    These are my favourite nappy pants so far. Very abossrbent and great for over night use. The material is very soft and the flexi waistline makes it comfy so my son to wear. I’ve only occasionaly had overnight leaks after wearing it for about 12 hours and when he’s had a bit too much to drink before bed.

  • Decent for disposables

    I usually use MCN but had to use some disposables recently. I found Huggies Nappy Pants to be very absorbent. We had no leaks. They were a little difficult to get on but stayed in place well. They were also decent value as I found them on a half price special. Although I still prefer MCN, I would use Huggies Nappy Pants again if I had a need for disposables.

  • Huggies has always been my go to!

    I have been buying Huggies nappies and nappy pants since my baby girl was born. Other brands give her a nappy rash and i believe its because other nappy brands so not draw the moisture away from the skin like Huggies does and creates an environment for bacteria and wet skin.

  • Great nappy pants for wiggly babies

    Bought this nappy when it was on sale in woolies! I have to say this is a great lightweight nappy for use in wiggly crawling and active. babies as changing nappy im such active.can be such a challenge when changing nappy for my little one thus using nappy pants is definetely a great idea to be used in lying or standing up! So far no leakage for us using during daytime! Fingers crossed. However there is some red marks on little one legs from prolonged wearing overnight

    Our very active 14m/o put these to the test & they went really well. They left her skin nice & dry & seemed to fit really well around the legs & waist for no leaks, they also didnt leave any marks on her body where they might have been a bit tight.     The Huggies nappies were always a great fit for my bub. The nappies never leaked overnight and never left marks/indents. My little boy was a premmie and has quite sensitive skin.     Love the design on these and so does my daughter. They’re very absorbent and super gentle on delicate skin, never had any problems with rashes or irritation on bubs skin either.     Huggies Ultra dry nappy pants are very soft from inside, it is very stretchable and very easy to pull on and off. The nappies doesn't leave any red marks on legs or sides from prolonged wearing. The absorbency is really good and keep the nappies dry for long with out making it bulgy and teary. Perfect for active and wiggly babies who give hard time during nappy change.

    Received them yesterday and was happy to try on my bubble as she is very wiggly and it is often hard to close the tab nappies because she opens it quickly. Huggies nappy pants are a great fit, super flexible and didnt left any mark on the skin. There is enough flexibility for leg area as well. The nappy pants are highly absorbent and was best for overnight and out side activities. Good front and back coverage. Totally recommend it.

  • We love huggies!

    We still use pullups for night time in our house and the value for money and comfort they provide is great! We use them for an older child as we are still having issues with toilet over night and they don't smell, they hold a generous amount of wee ( though some nights they do leak!) We can't complain and like huggies! I often try other brands when they are on sale but when they aren't I do come back to huggies as they offer the best value/leak protection for our needs.

  • Happy to go back to Huggies

    My son is 14 months old and when he was a newborn used Huggies. We unfortunately had to switch to other brands from 3 months onwards as we found the nappies were too narrow and we would often get leakages.

    Trialling these nappies, we have found no leaks and no red marks left from the elastic overnight. Really happy with these and will go back to the Huggies brand.

  • Best brand of nappy pants

    I’ve tried several brands of nappy pants and always find huggies to be the best. I wouldn’t use the over night as my little girl is a very heavy wetter but during they day they are fine. They are so much easier than nappies when you’re trying to wrestle a 20 month old at change time.

“My Floor Has Never Been So Clean”: The Mop That’s Winning Over Mums

Mopping isn’t exactly the chore most of us look forward to, but like most mums, for Katrina Macilroy, it’s unavoidable.

With three teenagers, a husband, a dog, two cats and timber flooring throughout most of her home, there’s plenty to keep her mop busy.

“I thought the toddler stage was hard, but teenagers take it to a whole other level,” Katrina told Mouths of Mums.

She describes herself as a ‘full-time Uber driver’ for her three kids, but when she’s home, she may as well be a full-time cleaner.

Her husband is a concreter, the family has plenty of sand coming inside and, with teenagers touching everything, the floors quickly show the evidence of a full family life.

“I have to mop like every second day because the floor gets marks,” she said.

So when Katrina was given the chance to try the Vileda Easy Wring & Clean TURBO Mop & Bucket Set, she was keen to see whether it could actually make one of her least favourite cleaning tasks any easier.

“I didn’t have high hopes for it to start with, because I’ve used spin mops before and I’d been disappointed,” she admitted.

But it didn’t take long for her to change her mind. One of the first things Katrina noticed was just how easy the mop was to use.

The foot pedal made wringing the mop quick and simple, without having to stop and fiddle with anything.

“It was so easy to spin it,” she says. “It wasn’t like you’re spinning it for hours or anything.”

She was also impressed by how quickly the mop itself could be put together, and the simple button that releases the mop head for washing.

“That simple press notion, everyone can do that. So I love that.”

It’s The Little Things That Add Up

For Katrina, who regularly finds herself cleaning up after a busy family, these little details made a surprisingly big difference. She also loved the triangular mop head, particularly when it came to getting into the corners and edges that her previous mop struggled with.

“The triangle design makes it easy to get into all the little corners,” she says.

But ultimately, the big question was whether it actually cleaned her floors. Katrina’s answer was an enthusiastic yes.

“My floor has never been so clean,” she says.

Katrina was also surprised by how light and manoeuvrable the mop felt, because at just 4’11”, she says mopping can sometimes be an uncomfortable job.

“I’m not a tall person, so trying to mop is always just a horrible experience.”

And it wasn’t just the mop itself that won Katrina over. She says the bucket design solved one of her biggest mopping frustrations: accidentally tipping the bucket over.

With timber floors, getting too much water onto the floor is something she tries hard to avoid. “The amount of mop buckets I’ve tipped over and just gone everywhere,” she says.

That can turn a simple cleaning job into another mess to deal with, particularly when you’re suddenly scrambling for towels and a dry mop head.

And for someone who mops as often as she does, she says that has saved her time. “This thing has saved me so much time, I can’t get over it.”

The Only Mop You’ll Need

Katrina also admits that she’d previously convinced herself she needed a steam mop. She even bought one, only to discover that plugging it in every time she wanted to clean wasn’t exactly appealing.

“You have to plug it in like a vacuum. Like, that’s not fun, I don’t want to do that.”

After trying the Vileda, she says she’s no longer convinced she needs one.

  • Yes, I couldn’t agree more. The Vileda spin mop is by far my favourite mop for a good thorough clean at home. I even got the landlords to purchase one for the holiday house I clean to make cleaning a breeze and get the job done properly. I always grab a spare when they’re out for half price.

  • Ah, I received a ‘you’re a finalist’ email from MoM for this fantastic mop but didn’t receive anything beyond that. I was looking forward to giving this a try to compare the three existing options I have but alas. Looks good, fingers crossed I can try it in the near future!

  • Omg! Yes! With 4 dogs and 4 teens AND the guests they bring home with them LOL our timber floors and tiles don’t stand a chance! I would love to see them add some wheels to the bottom of the bucket so that you don’t have to carry the bucket around with you.

  • This sounds like an excellent mop that makes cleaning so easy! I love a product that not only is as effective as advertised but makes a job less grueling. I gotta say though, a steam mop that plugs in sounds like an awful idea. I have a tineco floor mop, which is cordless and charges at a base, and it’s incredible on my white tiles.
