I’ll admit I have never actually been to pet barn. My cat had only ever tried supermarket brand foods so I was excited to try a “fancy” cat food. The packaging of Leaps and Bounds cat food was nice and I was particularly fond of the re-sealing zip lock. I felt good about giving my cat a more nutritious option. My cat LOVED leaps and bounds! She now prefers her dry food over her wet food which is new for her. I’ve also noticed a change in her temperament and she seems calmer and less crazy. Our cat is a picky pain when it comes to cat biscuits. He likes fish flavour, and only fish flavour. Found that out the hard way! He also manages to narrow to only one brand of food.
So I agreed to trial this cat food thinking I was most likely going to have to feed it to the dogs because the cat wouldn’t eat it.
And you know what? He did! He loves it and has eaten it all every day.
I am happy to give it to him, it is more nutritious than the other cat food he was eating.

My two cats, Tora and Sugars, both absolutely loved the Leaps & Bounds Ocean Fish and Thyme food for adult cats. As soon as I poured some onto their plate they began devouring it immediately! They both loved the taste and seemed to be very happy with the size of the little pieces. They've been eating this one all week with no complaints and appear to be completely satisfied. Definitely a winner! I personally love that it is 100% natural and has added vitamins and minerals to keep my little kitties healthy. The biggest bonus is that it is Australian made and owned! Fred and Ginger are particularly fussy eaters. They only like the best things in life. They clearly like eating Leaps and Bounds because from the moment I opened the package and placed the food in their food bowl their were two heads in one bowl. Rusty indicates that Leaps and Bounds cat food is Purrfect. Rusty was rescued as a feral kitten when he was 3 weeks old. Hand raised and fed, he began to get very fussy with what he would and would not eat. His preference is to eat the meat that is served on my plate, then to fresh caught food (birds, lizards, mice, frogs) then to Named Brands wet food, then Named Brands dry food. Rusty helped me to open the Leaps and Bounds package when it arrived. Before the dry food had reached his plate he had helped himself to a substantial quantity. I have been offering Rusty only Leaps and Bounds for the past five days and he has not once come over to annoy me for my dinner. The birds and frogs have been safe also although he has plenty of energy to still chase the lizards. I like the fact that Leaps and Bounds is made of all natural ingredients and is certainly the healthier option for my adorable Rusty.

My 2 girls aged 10 & 11yrs are quite fussy and tend to not like change especially with their food so I was a bit hesitant but I thought it was worth a try, I mixed in a little the first day & then kept gradually adding more & more every day afterwards so they would slowly get to used to the new food & to not have any upset bellies! Saffron was reluctant at first but now, after 4 weeks she prefers Leaps and Bounds over her previous dry food. Misty, my dad's cat is also enjoying her new nutritious food. One feature I really like is that Leaps and Bounds is Grain Free. I was hoping this would resolve the issue I have with my rabbits constantly eating the previous dry food. (grain based). My rabbits LOVE the taste of the new dry food (even though it contains sweet potato which is not good for rabbits!) They chewed a hole in the bottom of the bag! Maybe Leaps and Bounds can create a healthy food for rabbits :-)

Cats became bored of it by itself after awhile the novelty wore off and I had to mix other food with it again. They just sat at the dish and meowed and would not touch it when dispensed by itself. My cats love this. I have 5 cats and my boys were always first in line to get this every morning. Such an absolute pleasure to see such enthusiasm for for beyond the usual walls in the morning.
A beautiful moist kibble, the initial accent would get their taste buds ready. Enough of a crunch to still be good for their teeth and dental care.

On first glance this food has a moist feel and a rich dark colour. The pellets are small and perfect for a cat to chew on. With the zip lock resealable bag storage is also a breeze. The nature opening is a little tricky to get a cup into the bag but the small size bag is easy enough to lift to dispense
Taking the food to my cats garnered immediate interest and even my non fish loving cats enjoyed this. What's more important is that I look forward to feeding this to my cats. I love seeing their enthusiasm for food. Even when mixed with their usual (boring) food caused my cats to pick out the Leaps and Bounds pellets. It gives an owner great pleasure knowing that their pet enjoys their food and has no problems eating it regardless of age. This is a food I would love to give to my cats on a regular basis knowing that is doing them good

Continuing to increase the amount of Leaps and Bounds Ocean Fish with my cats current dry food and persisting in giving it to her each day has paid off. After 3 weeks She is now happy to eat Leaps and Bounds! I would strongly recommended the gradual approach and persisting over time. I have checked out the range of Leaps and Bounds at my local Petbarn store and was impressed to find that it also comes in smaller bags. Using smaller bags means you can introduce a new food to your cat and not worry about wasting the food. I'm keen to try out the chicken flavour one now!

From the first taste; both my cats enjoyed these kibbles. They both usually eat both wet and dry foods but since trying Leaps & Bounds they're not as interested in the canned stuff and are more than happy to have their bowls topped up with these kibbles instead. Highly recommended, kitties choice!

Queen Rosie had now been eating Leaps and Bounds for over a week now and she is still very enthusiastic about it, I only have to open the bag and she starts talking and complaining until she gets fed and then peace reigns.

Here it is about 2 weeks since i started to feed our fussy cat Leaps & Bounds Grain free Ocean Fish & Thyme cat food & she (Fluffy) still keeps coming back to it.
So far she is enjoying it no end, as to going back to what she was previously being fed (Whiskas) i highly doubt it.
It is far better for my cat to eat Leaps & Bounds Grain Free Ocean Fish and Thyme Adult Cat Food than her previous food for her & even when she uses the litter tray it is a far better result.

I was sceptical that my 11 year old was going to even try the Leaps & Bounds. She has special dry food that she adores.
But once she heard the Leaps & Bounds food being emptied into her bowl she came running. She wolfed it down so quick that we had to give her another bowl.

After a slow start our cats came around to the change in their dry food and enjoyed the Leaps & Bounds biscuits. Our female cat who mainly eats dry food and is very fussy took about 3 days to get used to them. After hand feeding her some biscuits she discovered she liked them and then dove into the bowl!!!

I do not know if anyone else has picked up on this or not, but every bag mentioned in the table above is a ‘designer’ brand. There are plenty of more affordable options that aren’t over $40. I have never spent that much on a lunchbox – even from Smiggle. The cheaper brands last just as well too.
Getting ready for the return to school has started to kick in so this was a timely read. We have the yum box and i love it, it is so easy for my daughter to open and close on her own. I find the lunch cooler bags also a great idea however some days depending on what else needs to go to school, they can be quite bulky to include in the school bag. I need to do some more research this year as i like the idea of being able to watch it in the washing machine, that is a clever idea.

Lunch boxes have come such a long way since my eldest was a kid, he’s now 26! There’s really a solution to everything from food heating, cooling, dividers, pockets etc etc. Lunch boxes are a real fashion accessory and so on-trend these days. I personally love the Bento lunch boxes. They save on plastic and separate different foods.
I am such a huge fan of Bento lunch boxes and Bento. Food should be so many wonderful things; including delicious, fun, colourful and nutritious too. Lunch is a favourite meal because the body is ready for some more calories and a boost of energy. Food looks so good in Bento lunch boxes.
So so many fantastic options! We use the montii co ones for our kdis and swear by it. Its lasted 3 years so far and still standing strong, like new since the first day using it. They are so durable and i find cleaning them to be the easiest for us.
There are so many great lunch box option out there indeed ! I’ve always liked the Bento style lunch boxes for my kids. It reduces the use of plastic lunch bags and packaged food which aren’t very good for the environment and it encourages to present a good variety of foods (which is not only better nutrition wise but lao to prevent our kids from getting bored with same foods all the time.
There are some really fabulous options here. So many variations of colour, shape and size. I love the bento style lunch boxes, so handy to keep food separate and eliminate the use of plastic packaging. The machine washable bags are a great idea too. They can get grubby so fast, this would be so much easier to maintain
This has gotten much easier since my kids hit high school – they have strong opinions about their lunch boxes, so I don’t have to think about it so much anymore! However, I am strongly in favor of bento style boxes regardless of their age. They’re easy to clean, easy to pack, and invite appropriate sized portions.
Great article! Our kids are so lucky, when it comes to lunchboxes, they really are spoilt for choice. There are so many to pick from. Regarding sandwiches, my eldest son, used to hate sandwiches for school lunches. It wasn’t until many years later that I discovered that he’d throw out his sandwiches in the playground bins. My son’s an adult now and he still hates sandwiches. He only likes “hot” lunches. So glad he lives on his own now and can make his own “hot” lunches just the way he likes them.

Wow, lunch boxes have really come such a long way from when I was taking a lunch box to school. Feel old, like “back in my day”, but we were lucky to have options like are available now. While I like some of these designs, I feel like they aren’t super practical.
These lunchboxes are beautiful but are they really worth the expensive price tag? I have been through so many lunch boxes and bags over the years and found the best it to use an insulated lunchbox bag with ice brick and use small containers to keep individual items fresh and assessable.
I love the bbox lunch boxes. They are so reliable and tough when kids throw their bags around. Easy to wash and store. I have used the we can be tiny snackies at home too. The boys love choosing a certain animal shape. They wash well, are durable and great quality.
My kids are old enough now to pack their own lunches and I am so happy to see the great choices they are making. They take left over meals, cook food in the morning to take and now I am confident they aren’t throwing away sandwiches! I do have the chilly bags for them, I find they fit better into bags
My daughter uses a bento box now for work and sometimes an insulated bag in summer, but when she was at school it was a rectangular lunch box with no compartments. It was very easy to wash each day, just the box and lid, and it could still be filled with rolls/sandwiches and snacks.
Lunchboxes are so important these days. Back in my day it was a brown paper bag or the exact same lunch box that everyone else had and there were three compartments. Today its such a fashion statement and as much as the lunchbox itself is judged so are the contents.

So I agreed to trial this cat food thinking I was most likely going to have to feed it to the dogs because the cat wouldn’t eat it.
And you know what? He did! He loves it and has eaten it all every day.
I am happy to give it to him, it is more nutritious than the other cat food he was eating.
I highly recommend leaps and bounds to anyone who wants to give the best to their cat.

A beautiful moist kibble, the initial accent would get their taste buds ready. Enough of a crunch to still be good for their teeth and dental care.

On first glance this food has a moist feel and a rich dark colour. The pellets are small and perfect for a cat to chew on. With the zip lock resealable bag storage is also a breeze. The nature opening is a little tricky to get a cup into the bag but the small size bag is easy enough to lift to dispense
Taking the food to my cats garnered immediate interest and even my non fish loving cats enjoyed this. What's more important is that I look forward to feeding this to my cats. I love seeing their enthusiasm for food. Even when mixed with their usual (boring) food caused my cats to pick out the Leaps and Bounds pellets. It gives an owner great pleasure knowing that their pet enjoys their food and has no problems eating it regardless of age. This is a food I would love to give to my cats on a regular basis knowing that is doing them good

She is 12 years old and can be quite fussy about some food so the fact that she likes this so much is a real bonus, I was so happy with it that I've put family and friends on to Leaps and Bounds.

I smaller amount seemed to keep them full for longer as well, I’d definitely buy this cat food now after testing it with my boys.

So far she is enjoying it no end, as to going back to what she was previously being fed (Whiskas) i highly doubt it.
It is far better for my cat to eat Leaps & Bounds Grain Free Ocean Fish and Thyme Adult Cat Food than her previous food for her & even when she uses the litter tray it is a far better result.
Best thing ever was getting hold of this product to test. 4.5/5 stars as far as my wife & i are concerned

But once she heard the Leaps & Bounds food being emptied into her bowl she came running. She wolfed it down so quick that we had to give her another bowl.
She has seemed to prefer this food this week to her wet food which she normally loves. Leaps & Bounds is now a part of her diet!!
