  • Where has this been!!

    As I child I remember going to school after the night before my mum doing a Nit treatment & smelling like tea tree oil & all the kids asking if my hair has nits because they can smell the treatment hahah. I love that this doesn’t cause a smell. It’s so much easier than trying to clean the nit brush. Would definitely recommend the price seems reasonable.

    Somehow my little girl got nits in lockdown.

    I panicked and then I remembered we had the V Comb.

    She has long curly hair but the comb was easy to use, easy to clean.

    She was more than happy to sit and watch tv while Mummy played with her hair.

  • Thorough and easy to use

    With 5 young children, it's inevitable that our household faces a headlice issue from time to time. It's always a nightmare when it comes to the girls' long hair - we've tried the old-fashioned lice combs, a variety of sprays, oils and other commercially available and home remedies, and it's always hard. The Licetec comb was so easy to use and didn't require any products to be added to the hair, which was probably my favourite part. It was so satisfying to be able pull the comb through the hair and see the results in the little mesh catcher! We actually also used the comb on the baby's cradlecap and it worked an absolute dream. I would absolutely recommend the Licetec comb to any parent with kids at school and preschool, it solves the headlice problem in one go without buying any chemicals or making up home remedies.

    I have two kids at primary school and one at daycare. Unfortunately head lice is a reoccurring issue for us, and the kids hate the usual treatment they have to endure. This device is a game changer. It is so simple to use, and less painful than the traditional method of combining out over and over. It's great that you can see all the nasties caught in the bag.     The v comb a1 is such a brilliant invention, my mum is so upset that they didnt have these around when she was raising us six kidsand 4 of us being girls with very long hair. My daughter actually looked forward to me doing her hair for the first time ever, she didnt once complain and we captured ecerything. Just make sure to brush your childs hair before using.

  • Any Parent Of Kids Needs This Product!

    This was one of those reviews that I was super happy to test out, but at the same time my worse nightmare. The thought of head lice makes me feel ill in the stomach.

    Before being selected to review the Licetec V-Comb A1 I was actually unaware that anything like this was available. My usual method of removing head lice from my kids hair involved using a nit/head lice removal chemical, hair conditioner and a truck load patience. So being able to use a product like the Licetec V Comb A1 really excites me.

    The V-Comb A1 comes with everything you need to remove head lice. The best part is that is rechargeable, which means you can use it anywhere. It comes in a convenient container which stores all of the parts neatly. The V-Comb comes with some charge, so I was able to get straight to work.

    If I had to describe the V-Comb A1 it would be a combination of a comb and vacuum to remove and suck head lice and eggs into an internal barrel. One button to turn on and off and it wasn’t too noisy. You can hygienically dispose of the internal capture filter without the need to touch it. Simply unlock the main body of the unit, then place over the bin and the capture filter will slide straight out. You get a total of 4 capture filters, but you can purchase these separately once you run out.

    I used this on my 5 year old son who’s hair is short and on my 11 year old daughter who’s hair is shoulder length. I used a brush first to ensure there were no knots in the kid’s hair. They recommend starting from the nape of the neck and going up. The comb has two angle settings, straight and raking.

    With my daughter’s hair I did have to section it off first, then I separated her hair into small sections no wider than the teeth of the comb before passing the comb through. You start as close to the sculp as possible and pass the comb through each section a few times.

    With my son’s hair I just started from the nape of his neck and just worked my way up passing the comb through over and over. The comb easily glided through both the kid’s hair, but the comb did snag a few times and the kids were quite quick to yell out when this happened.

    It was not long before I could see the live head lice moving around trapped in the capture filter. YUCK!!! I could see both the live head lice and their eggs. While this was disgusting to see, I knew the V-Comb A1 was actually working.

    Overall, I think the Licetec V-Comb A1 is a brilliant product for anyone who is after an allergen & chemical free headlice removal system. No matter when my next head lice infestation is, I’m ready thanks to Licetec V Comb A1. Highly recommend.

  • Effective and Safe to Use. Total Money Saver.

    I have tried using different head lice shampoo for my kid but I found Licetec V Comb to be the most effective and safe one to use. Other shampoos have a chemical kind of smell and are unable to immediately kill all lice so you keep on using the shampoo.

    When we got notification there was head lice at school my immediate reaction was Nooooo.... had seen this on MOM so went to chemist to get it.....was a bit costly but worth it as turned out my darling had lice it worked pretty good although had nothing to compare it to as this was luckily our 1st time experiencing lice.

  • Too good to be true

    I have been excited and waiting for head lice to rear their ugly heads since i received the V-COMB A1 in the mail. Today i finally got to try it out on my 17yr old Daughter's head. We set it up and charged it which was pretty simple. Then we brushed out the knots and started the process of combing. This is where the claim of it being gentle is proven to be nothing but lies. Metal combs are never gentle when my children's hair is involved. Besides the hair continuously getting caught in the comb, we had to keep stopping to re-brush all the knots out.

    We were kinda grossed out at the live bugs running around in the capture filter thing. But also excited to see that at least that claim was true. After the comb being too time consuming, loud and painful my Daughter opted for conditioner and combing method.

  • Came back to review a second time!

    Ok - it was a while before we got to use it for the first time, but now we have backed it up with a second round. I freaking love this!! No trauma and screaming from the chemical washes and metal comb. This is a billion time easier and without all the yelling and drama

  • Easy to use, no mess.

    With the warmer weather and ending lockdown, my kids and their friends not only share happiness of getting together again, however, they also shared head lice.

    Thanks to V-Comb A1. Made my job much easier and also much less Ouches... The only thing I am not 100% happy with V-Comb A1 is that with longer hair, it is a little hard to comb through.

    This product is great. We had our first case of lice this week, I tried a few swipes on my own hair and it even got my dandruff and dirt, it collected the eggs and few lice. we tried over wet and dry hair, worked wonderfully over both. We’ve been using it daily with success although not all completely gone still highly recommend this product

    My step-daughter was coming home with headlice every other week for a good period of a year. This comb made life a hell of a lot simpler as I found the combs would just sweep past alot of the smaller headlice. I absolutely dread getting rid of the headline as they totally grose me out and the work you have to put in, with washing everything each time there is a outbreak, and doing each kids head at the same time. It's so time consuming and very tiring.

  • Easy and fun to use

    My stepdaughter has issues with “bugs” coming home from school. This product made combing and checking her hair fun. It was easy to use and she was using it herself after school. The light and mesh catch feature is great to see if there are any love or eggs being removed from the hair. I love that it is gentle on the hair while being very effective at removing any lice and eggs. I haven’t tried this wet yet but probably wouldn’t recommend it for this. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to trial this product in our home.

  • Life saver

    This is a wonderful product and made my life much easier when the kids recently got a bout of lice. Usually lots of tears and they don't like the lice treatment but they loved this and I did too as it was easy and works wonderful.

    I really liked this headlice treatment. Chemical free and easy to use. My daughter didn't complain once unlike when we use the chemical treatments. I think it did a great job getting rid of the head lice. Will definitely use again next time lice are brought home from school

    I love that this is rechargeable and that it's allergen-and chemical-free. I think it will come in handy throughout the primary school years and will save me from having to re-buy lice shampoo anytime there is a breakout at the school. Highly recommend!

    This was easy to use and saved so much time. When you have children with sensory issues with their hair, getting lice is a nightmare for you. This product made this a lot easier for myself and my children. It meant no meltdowns and less time with me touching their hair.

  • Easy to use for the whole family

    Before the V-Comb it was what seemed like endless hair combing searching for the little pests and their eggs with the biggest problem being that there was no one to check Mum's head and paranoid or not we all know that when we hear that word our heads start to itch. The V-Comb cut the combing time by more than half, capturing the live critters so they couldn't escape and jump back on and removed the eggs. No more putting gunk on their hair to kill them, washing it out and then combing several times and repeating the process every 3-4 days. I found it best to V-Comb every 3 days for a week, just to be sure, and it only took a few minutes once I got the hang of it. Best part was that if I was feeling itchy I could run it through my own hair and have peace of mind.

  • WOW!

    We have used several different chemical based treatments before… including ‘sensitive’ or gentle ones - my kids ages 6 and 2 find that process quite traumatic with the smell.

    We recently had an infestation at home and had to treat the whole family. Mess, smell and chemical free - it was a simple and easy process.

    At first I was not sure that the price warranted the device, but as an RN I have spoken to many nurse colleagues and more mothers about the benefits and that the price tag is week worth it.

    Its really useful, handy and easy to use. Its life saver i must say and totally worth it. I like its easy to use and very useful. I could see a great change and helped me get rid of head lice without too much hassle.

  • Tried it before and it’s definitely one of the better companies to do surveys with. They make it so easy, the website is easy to navigate and the surveys are generally not too long. It’s easy to do whilst on the couch or filling in time! Definitely worth checking out to earn some extra cash.

  • Purkle is fun! Not a lot to earn from but if you like filling up surveys or voicing ypir opinions, it is definitely worth a try. Sometimes there are survey on music which are the most fun ones and also, these are the ones that reward the most. Not bad to earn a gift card or 2 in a year!

  • I love Purkle. While the surveys don’t award massive sums, the surveys themselves are never long. Other platforms want a minimum of 10 minutes which can be hard to commit to during day time chaos. It doesn’t take long to accumulate a decent sum, and I use gift cards as a way to treat myself. They can be redeemed for grocery gift cards. I’ve cashed out over $200 in a year and a half. Give it a go!

  • I’ve been with Purkle for a few years now. One of my favourite survey and money earning platforms. Easy to build up a balance and redeem your earnings. Love sitting down and completing my purkle surveys, to see balance grow. I use this to treat myself or put towards presents for Christmas

  • I’m not having any luck with purkle. I tried to sign up for it and it just wasn’t working so I emailed them and didn’t hear back, I just tried again now and managed to create an account but then the activation email contained no link to click and actually activate my account. From the comments here it looks like I’m not missing anything anyway

  • I’ve earnt a bit through Purkle and other survey sites. They are great passive income. I don’t mind that Purkle pays in gift cards as it provides a great opportunity for me to buy something for myself as opposed to putting cash away for expenses. But cash is always good!

  • Surveys have been great to keep me awake while feeding my newborn at night but I agree with some of the comments that the time commitment is too high for the benefit. I do not believe i will continue using it once baby starts to sleep through and get through feeds quicker.

  • I tried Purkle for approx 1 year and quite frankly it’s really not worth your time
    Very few surveys and very low amounts paid
    Worst thing is it only pays in gift cards so no cash
    I gave up and just stuck with my original survey site that I’ve been using for years
    It makes me $120 average in PayPal a week without too much effort and supplies the family with an annual holiday without touching the household budget

  • It’s a shame I’m already a member and can’t enter the competition. Surveys in general – including Purkle – can be a good way to earn some money, but just remember you won’t earn much from any one survey. It does add up over time though, and isn’t particularly difficult to do.

  • This is a nice way to earn a bit extra money but you won’t earn a lot. Some surveys time out too which is annoying or hey just stop working half way through. If you have spare time and want to do it then why not. I sometimes do these on the train on my way to work and it slowly builds up to allow you to get a reward. It all helps.

  • I joined Purkle ages ago but to be honest I have never used it and totally forgot that I joined let alone that I could be earning money and points while being at home. Any opportunity to make some money and try to help financially, off I go to rejoin I think!

  • I have joined up and hope to gain some bonuses. I realise it won’t be a lot but it’s good to know from genuine people on here that have been part of purkle that it is a real site. So many scams out there so good to know this isn’t one of them.

  • Purkle is a great surveys site. I’ve redeemed vouchers from there. You’re not going to make a fortune from it but you do definitely earn for your time. I haven’t done any for a while as I just haven’t had rhe time but I’ll definitely get back into it. The vouchers always come in handy.
