  • all rounder cream!

    I used Dermaveen on my kids when they were babies for the bath and moisturising. The product is great for any rash or skin irritations. I still use on them whenever they have any dryness or rashes. It also help me with my Sirius, on my knees and elbows. I love it! Great for the whole family as a body wash and a mosituriser. Doesn't irritate any of our families skin it only refreshes and re hydrates which is all you could ask for in a product!

  • Moisturising Lotion works brilliantly

    The moisturiser did a brilliant job at repairing sun and pregnancy damage to my skin. With continued use my skin looks healthy and feels quite soft. My skin has never felt better. This product also has a pleasant soft smell which doesn't overpower anything else you put on. Highly recommend this range of products to absolutely everybody for continued everyday use.

    Dermaveen is my hot favourite now. I'm so glad that I have now got back my soft and supple skin..thanks to dermaveen wash and lotion. I dedicatedly apply dermaveen lotion 3 times a day, and wash once a day. Lotion is thick yet easily absorbable by the skin. My dry skin breathes nature because of this lotion now. I can feel the difference straight away just by looking at my skin...touch is surely surely fabulous. High five for the wowww dermaveen products. great for my skin !

  • Fantastic products...

    Dermaveen has proved to be a fantastic genuine brand. I love both the products... the wash and the lotion. Great for sensitive skin. Fabulous for soothing eczema. Lovely for the babies also. I'm a sure new fan now. Infact I've kept a little bottle and refill it with dermaveen lotion all the time. It goes with me wherever I go. love this product. HUbby loves it..baby loves it...I love it !

  • Great for sensitive skin.

    Both myself and my son get eczema. We both tried the DermaVeen Extra Gentle Soap Free Wash and we loved it. It was very gentle on our skin. We the used the Daily Nourish Moisturising Lotion after our bath and found our skin to feel soft for days afterwards. We will definitely be purchasing this again.

    My hubby is so so so so haapy with both extra gentlw body wash and nourishing lotion. He's got eczema but dermaveens both the products proved so fantastic that he now sticks to it..loves it so much.... fantastic superb....must buy..... gorgeous and his fv now.   • Awesome Lotion

    After using the extra gentle body wash, I highly recommend using the Dermaveen Lotion. It gives my skin a lovely smooth feeling. The tesxure of the lotion is amzing, soft and easily absorbable by the skin. It has become my favourite lotion. I apply it to my little 7 months old bub also. The complete family loves it. Infact I've bought another bottle as well. Superb ! love it !

  • Gorgeous soft skin

    My skin is so soft...just like my baby's "oh so soft" skin :D .......... I totally love dermaveen ..BOTH products. Dry skin is a No-No now and my baby doesn't have any red rashes or the nappy rash left. The products are great to use. Highly and truly recommended ! Love this !

    Both my daughter and I used this and our skin has been amazing! Her eczema has basically fully cleared in the time we used DermaVeen.

    I use DermaVeen all the time until I started using it I use to go through tubes of cream to keep my dermatitis under control now I can use it as directed by my doctor .

  • No smell bonus

    I use both of these products. As I get skin problems I was advised by a doctor to use this range. I am able to use both with good results. Both have no smell. The wash leaves your skin feeling smooth and soft even when your skin is dry. The most Moisturising Lotion does add moisture to your skin. The oatmeal calms your dry skin reducing the irritation and itchiness that other Moisturising Lotions may cause. Both bottles have a pump action which makes them quick to use in both the shower or bath and on the bench. I even use the Moisturising Lotion to wash my hands if I have worked in the garden.

  • Stop the itchy

    DermaVene is a great product that is very affective in helping to reduce itchy skin. It is certainly soft and quite gentle on the skin. DermaVene has quite a pleasant smell that is not overpowering. Being soap free makes it suit most skin types and helps those with sensitive skin.

  • DermaVeen friendly

    After having such great results clearing dermatitis using Dermavine I recommended it to a friend who has trouble with itchy skin and she is so pleased that it is working. She is not completely healed but it has certainly lessened her itchiness and she is over the moon with her results.

  • Great for that crocodile winter skin!

    The both the wash and the moisturiser were so gentle on the skin, but left it feeling even more supple and smooth than before you hit the shower. Knowing it did not have all those nasty irritants that many products contain I felt happy using it on the children. Even the most sensitive skin in our house found these products to not irritate and help keep away the itchies. Give this a go if you have any dry, itchy or flaky skin conditions, you might be surprised.

  • Love the Moisturising Lotion but not the Soap Free Wash

    I always have a bottle of DermaVeen® Daily Nourish Moisturising Lotion in my cupboard. It is fabulous for moisturising and is perfect for my sensitive skin.

    However, I can't say the same for the DermaVeen® Extra Gentle Soap Free Wash. It felt horrible on my skin. Tried showering in it twice but it wasn't me. I got hubby to try it and he didn't like it either so I passed my bottle along to someone else to try.

  • Good alternative to soap

    Love this brand. The soap free wash clears up dermatitus and the cream is excellent for dry skin. I now buy the soap free wash in a 1Litre pump bottle and leave it at the bathroom sink. It has a light oatmeal fragrance and with the larger size bottle I'm not having to replace it all the time.

  • Keen on DermaVeen

    I bought the soap free wash after my son developed peeling on the palms of his hands. I suspected he was having a reaction to soap and I was right. A week after using DermaVeen his hands have cleared up and are smooth and clear. It certainly lives up to it's name of being extra gentle.

  • For the whole family

    We originally started using Dermaveen as my husband and I have sensitive, dry skin. We started using the soap-free wash daily and instantly noticed our skin was less itchy and scaly, especially in Winter. We then started using the shampoo, and our hair is moisturized with no signs of flakiness.

  • 'Worth the switch to

    The DermaVeen range is excellent! I've never been one to look after my skin much until its already dry and after switching to the DermaVeen soap free wash I've noticed me skin always looks moisturised and fresh. Adding in the moisturiser and Im set! Definitely recommend these products and will not be switching'!

  • Clears Eczema

    I started using DermaVeen cream for Eczema when I was pregnant. I found the product to be well priced and you only need a small about of cream as it goes very far. My eczema was pregnancy related and has since gone away but the cream soothed and reduced redness when I used it. I still have this product and will use it on baby/husband if there skin flares up; it is gentle enough and leaves skin feeling smooth.

  • Good for the family!

    My whole family throughly enjoys using DermaVeen products, including my husband. Both the moisturiser and body wash leave our skin feeling soft, clean and well cared for. Since using DermaVeen moisturiser my skin aprears to be very well nourished and is silky soft to touch. Even though the moisturiser is thick to use, it does absorbs nicely into my skin.

  • Excellent

    As I have sensitve skin I often need a body moisturiser to help combat the dry skin without irritating it further when it flares up. It offers soothing relief while at the same time providing the necessary moisture to condition the dry skin. It is not very expensive and comes in a good sized pump bottle that lasts for ages. It contains colloidal oatmeal which is good for healing and anti-itching properties. It is a nice thick rich cream with no noticable scent. Good for the children and anyone at all with dry irritable sensitive skin.

  • Eczema Relief

    I started using Dermaveen when I was pregnant as my eczema flared up and my regular soaps were too rough on my skin. I have used it for years now and find the moisturisers really hydrate my skin. Now it's a staple in my whole family's bathing routine. We use it on our toddler and newborn. Thanks Dermaveen!

  • Great for those with skin allergies

    I have allergies to parabens and silicates which are used in most mainstream beauty products such as soaps, detergent and shampoo. I get horrific dermatitis and perpetual itching when these chemicals are present and my skin dries out easily. I love the Dermaveen extra gentle soap free wash because it's very kind to my sensitive skin, has a beautiful, slightly sweet oatmeal smell, and doesn't dry out my skin at all. It's also gentle enough for my little boy's skin while working hard enough to remove the array of dirt, grass and food after a long day of playing. I'd definitely recommend this product, and I do!

  • DermaVeen vs 2 kids with Eczema

    Our family loves these products as our kids have eczema we have tried many products and some just don't seem to repair and hydrate their skin, only just keep eczema from getting worse.

    So to feel their skin soft and not dry and not scratching hardly at all, is a great thing for any parent too appreciate

Mum-of-two Rebecca McCracken has spent the last four years reading ingredient lists on pretty much everything she buys at the supermarket.

Like many parents raising kids with food allergies, a quick trip to the supermarket often means checking labels, comparing products and hoping to find something the whole family can eat.

Bec’s four-year-old son and 17-month-old daughter were both born with cow’s milk protein allergy. While her son has since outgrown his allergies, her toddler still reacts to dairy, making even everyday staples like bread a challenge.

“Unless we buy expensive sourdough for seven or eight dollars, we don’t really have a choice.”

Even then, it’s not ideal.

“A kid doesn’t want to eat a sourdough sandwich,” Bec laughs. “And fairy bread on sourdough is not great.”

A New Loaf On The Block

Bec runs an online community for allergy families, so she spends plenty of time sharing recipes, product finds and supermarket discoveries with other parents.

It was one of those parents who first told her about new JUST bread.

“A follower messaged me and said, ‘Oh my gosh, this bread is coming soon.’ I was like, ‘Where? When? I need to know. I’m getting my car keys and running!'”

Made with baker’s flour, water, yeast, vinegar, oil and salt, JUST bread contains no artificial preservatives, flavours or colours.

For Bec, it sounded almost too good to be true. “When we saw JUST bread, I was like, ‘You’re joking.’ A bread that’s fresh baked but in the bread aisle? That’s unheard of for us.”

“It was really exciting for our family and for the allergy community.”

The Family’s Toughest Critic Approved

Of course, there was one person whose opinion mattered more than anyone else’s.

“My toughest critic is my daughter. She is so fussy. We know something is really good if she approves it, and she approves it. She loves it. She’ll eat it plain, toasted, as French toast … whatever. She loves it.”

Bec says she was impressed too.

“I like it. I like that it’s only got minimal ingredients and doesn’t have the additives and preservatives that are in a lot of other brands.”

A Simpler Option For Everyday Families

Bec tried out JUST bread because of her family’s allergies, but she says it has a broader appeal.

“I think everyone is becoming more conscious of additives and preservatives in their food.”

It’s a feeling many of us can probably relate to. We don’t all want to overhaul the way we eat, but plenty of us are paying a little more attention to ingredient lists and looking for products that keep things simple.

Bread is one of those foods that’s always around. It ends up in lunchboxes, on the breakfast table, alongside soup on a cold night and covered in hundreds and thousands at birthday parties. When we eat something that often, it’s only natural to wonder what’s in it.

JUST bread keeps things simple with a handful of pantry ingredients and no artificial preservatives, flavours or colours. It’s the sort of loaf that fits easily into busy family life without asking us to compromise on taste or convenience.

Little Changes, Big Difference

 

For Bec, finding a loaf of bread her whole family can enjoy is about more than ticking another item off the shopping list.

“It seems like such a little thing to the normal community, but for us this is a massive win.”

Being able to make sandwiches without worrying about ingredients. Packing lunchboxes a little more easily. Bringing back fairy bread for birthdays. Sometimes it’s the little things that make family life feel a whole lot simpler.

And while Bec found JUST bread because she needed another allergy-friendly option, its simple ingredient list is likely to appeal to plenty of other families too. After all, when we can choose everyday foods made with ingredients we recognise, that’s a pretty good place to start.

I have noticed that there are starting to be more ‘cleaner’ products in the supermarket, meaning consumers are being heard. We are going full circle back to how foods use to be produced before companies got greedy and started taking shortcuts to producing food items. I hope we continue seeing more preservative and additive free options that are affordable come back in the supermarkets.

  • Grabbing your car keys and running for a bread ?? I can’t imagine doing so for a bread lol ! It’s nice to see that more and more allergy friendly products are being produced and put on the market.
    I don’t agree with the statement that “A kid doesn’t want to eat a sourdough sandwich”. It depends on what type of bread you introduce to your kids. My kids grew up with 7 seeds, rustic bread and sourdough and they love it. It’s also quite easy and cheap to make sourdough bread yourself.

  • I haven’t seen this bread in the supermarket but will be looking for it now. I have been trying to avoid preservatives and additives for some time now and as highlighted in the article bread it difficult to find, or super expensive, without them so I don’t have it often.

  • This is fantastic, finally a bread that is not full of nasty stuff. I will be going straight out to buy this. My son has ARFID and will only eat white bread, but it’s not terribly healthy. With this bread, at least I know that it is much healthier than the alternatives. Woohoo

  • I cant wait to give this bread a go (so far its always been sold out at my local woolies so it must be good). So good its suitable for those with allergies too. I think nowadays were all looking for cleaner options of ingredients in our foods so this is a step in the right direction.

  • I am glad more and more allergy friendly products are being produced and offered. I don’t agree with Bec’s statement that kids don’t like sourdough bread. My kids were introduced to sourdough and the most rustic and seeded breads from the time they started to eat bread, and they love it

  • Oh I cannot wait to try this bread! We go through that much bread each week and I always feel so guilty with how much my kids have – not anymore! Would love to see them introduce other variants in the future – multigrain and gluten free would be superb!

  • This is such a great product that I’m looking forward to trying! I’ve only been buying bread from bakeries the last few years because grocery store bread texture was so dense and unpleasant. But the hassle with bakery bread is I can’t get it everywhere! I’ll be really keen to give this a go
