I used Dermaveen on my kids when they were babies for the bath and moisturising. The product is great for any rash or skin irritations. I still use on them whenever they have any dryness or rashes. It also help me with my Sirius, on my knees and elbows. I love it! Great for the whole family as a body wash and a mosituriser. Doesn’t irritate any of our families skin it only refreshes and re hydrates which is all you could ask for in a product!

Dermaveen is my hot favourite now. I’m so glad that I have now got back my soft and supple skin..thanks to dermaveen wash and lotion. Both myself and my son get eczema. We both tried the DermaVeen Extra Gentle Soap Free Wash and we loved it. It was very gentle on our skin. We the used the Daily Nourish Moisturising Lotion after our bath and found our skin to feel soft for days afterwards. We will definitely be purchasing this again.

After using the extra gentle body wash, I highly recommend using the Dermaveen Lotion. It gives my skin a lovely smooth feeling. I use both of these products. As I get skin problems I was advised by a doctor to use this range. I am able to use both with good results. Both have no smell. The wash leaves your skin feeling smooth and soft even when your skin is dry. The most Moisturising Lotion does add moisture to your skin. The oatmeal calms your dry skin reducing the irritation and itchiness that other Moisturising Lotions may cause. Both bottles have a pump action which makes them quick to use in both the shower or bath and on the bench. I even use the Moisturising Lotion to wash my hands if I have worked in the garden.

DermaVene is a great product that is very affective in helping to reduce itchy skin. It is certainly soft and quite gentle on the skin. DermaVene has quite a pleasant smell that is not overpowering. Being soap free makes it suit most skin types and helps those with sensitive skin.

After having such great results clearing dermatitis using Dermavine I recommended it to a friend who has trouble with itchy skin and she is so pleased that it is working. She is not completely healed but it has certainly lessened her itchiness and she is over the moon with her results.

The both the wash and the moisturiser were so gentle on the skin, but left it feeling even more supple and smooth than before you hit the shower. Knowing it did not have all those nasty irritants that many products contain I felt happy using it on the children. Even the most sensitive skin in our house found these products to not irritate and help keep away the itchies. Give this a go if you have any dry, itchy or flaky skin conditions, you might be surprised.

Love the Moisturising Lotion but not the Soap Free Wash
I always have a bottle of DermaVeen® Daily Nourish Moisturising Lotion in my cupboard. It is fabulous for moisturising and is perfect for my sensitive skin.
However, I can’t say the same for the DermaVeen® Extra Gentle Soap Free Wash. It felt horrible on my skin. Tried showering in it twice but it wasn’t me. I got hubby to try it and he didn’t like it either so I passed my bottle along to someone else to try.

Love this brand. The soap free wash clears up dermatitus and the cream is excellent for dry skin. I now buy the soap free wash in a 1Litre pump bottle and leave it at the bathroom sink. It has a light oatmeal fragrance and with the larger size bottle I’m not having to replace it all the time.

I bought the soap free wash after my son developed peeling on the palms of his hands. I suspected he was having a reaction to soap and I was right. A week after using DermaVeen his hands have cleared up and are smooth and clear. It certainly lives up to it’s name of being extra gentle.

I’ve never been one to look after my skin much until its already dry and after switching to the DermaVeen soap free wash I’ve noticed me skin always looks moisturised and fresh. Adding in the moisturiser and Im set! Definitely recommend these products and will not be switching’!

I started using DermaVeen cream for Eczema when I was pregnant. I found the product to be well priced and you only need a small about of cream as it goes very far. My eczema was pregnancy related and has since gone away but the cream soothed and reduced redness when I used it. I still have this product and will use it on baby/husband if there skin flares up; it is gentle enough and leaves skin feeling smooth.

My whole family throughly enjoys using DermaVeen products, including my husband. Both the moisturiser and body wash leave our skin feeling soft, clean and well cared for. Since using DermaVeen moisturiser my skin aprears to be very well nourished and is silky soft to touch. Even though the moisturiser is thick to use, it does absorbs nicely into my skin.

As I have sensitve skin I often need a body moisturiser to help combat the dry skin without irritating it further when it flares up. It offers soothing relief while at the same time providing the necessary moisture to condition the dry skin. It is not very expensive and comes in a good sized pump bottle that lasts for ages. It contains colloidal oatmeal which is good for healing and anti-itching properties. It is a nice thick rich cream with no noticable scent. Good for the children and anyone at all with dry irritable sensitive skin.

I have allergies to parabens and silicates which are used in most mainstream beauty products such as soaps, detergent and shampoo. I get horrific dermatitis and perpetual itching when these chemicals are present and my skin dries out easily. I love the Dermaveen extra gentle soap free wash because it’s very kind to my sensitive skin, has a beautiful, slightly sweet oatmeal smell, and doesn’t dry out my skin at all. It’s also gentle enough for my little boy’s skin while working hard enough to remove the array of dirt, grass and food after a long day of playing. I’d definitely recommend this product, and I do!

How To Win The Family Wi-Fi War At Home (Even If You Have Teens)
Like most busy mums, I rarely gave our home internet any thought – until the complaints started. With two teenagers heading into their most important school years, me working from home and the whole family streaming and gaming more than ever, this year it became obvious our setup wasn’t keeping up with the pace of our family’s needs.
We recently upgraded to nbn® Fibre to the Premises (FTTP), and having access to lightning-fast speed options and a more reliable home connection has already made a huge difference. It made me realise how easy it is to sign up for a plan, forget about it, and not notice when it stops meeting the needs of the household – even though checking your current plan speeds, and whether you’re eligible for a fibre upgrade, is easy.
You might have heard the news – last September, nbn rolled out one of the biggest upgrades in its history. nbn accelerated wholesale speed on its HFC and FTTP networks, which nbn providers are now offering. Eligible households are enjoying smoother streaming, less lag while gaming, and quicker downloads, even across many devices at once.
So, what can you do to turn the complaints into internet that keeps up with your whole family?
First Thing’s First – Check Your Plan
Around 39% of Australians connected to nbn say they don’t know what speed tier they’re on.* That means a lot of families could be on plans that don’t really fit the way they use the internet today.
If your household has multiple bedrooms, devices and people online at the same time, it’s worth checking if your current plan is up to speed – literally! Faster speeds can help make a difference, from smoother study sessions and video calls, quicker downloads, and fewer arguments about who’s ‘slowing the Wi-Fi down’.
With the acceleration of nbn’s wholesale speeds on the HFC and FTTP networks last September, it makes sense to check if your plan is still right for your family’s needs and if you’re eligible for a fibre upgrade, all in one go.
Make the most of your plan speeds
Your internet plan is only one piece of the puzzle. A great nbn experience starts with the right internet setup. It’s important to check if your in-home setup is helping you make the most of your plan speeds.
I’m the first to admit that our home setup hadn’t kept up with the growing number of connected devices in our house. And it’s a common story – 62% of Australians haven’t changed their internet setup in the last two years*. And that’s despite the average Aussie home downloading eight times more data than a decade ago.
Here are three tips that helped me improve our home setup:
Wi-Fi router placement – Placing your Wi-Fi router in a central, elevated spot that’s open and uncluttered gives better coverage than if it’s tucked away in a cupboard or behind furniture.
Wi-Fi router age – If your Wi-Fi router is more than 5 years old, you may want to consider if it’s still suitable for your family’s needs. Your choice of Wi-Fi router, and how you set it up in your home, could limit you from accessing the maximum speed offered by your plan.
Wi-Fi coverage – Distance from your Wi-Fi router, and obstacles between you, will impact the strength of signal around your home. If you live in a larger or multi-storey home, you might want to consider additional wired connection points, or a mesh network to help strengthen your Wi-Fi signal throughout your home as your family members move around the house.

Why Do Faster Internet Speeds Matter?
For my family, it’s all about advancing along with the pace of the world – and keeping the peace! The internet plan your family signed up to when your kids were in primary school may not be the best plan now they’re in high school. The number of times my kids would argue if one was downloading something large and the other was trying to game or stream started to get ridiculous!
Higher speed tiers mean more capacity so thatyou can stream, work from home and game online all at the same time with minimal disruptions. It’s about everyone being connected at the same time – whether that’s through smart TVs, tablets, laptops, desktops, gaming consoles or smart phones.

Ahhh I remember when we had dial up as a kid and if someone wanted to make a phone call you would get kicked off. Those were the days! We don’t seem to have any issues with our plan. We have NBN to our premises and now my daughter has her laptop and we all have Googles in all the main areas, plus streaming on the TV. Our internet has never missed a beat!
I do think that companies deliberately make it quite hard to compare and understand plans as a way of discouraging you from changing. But it should probably be one of those things you check up on every year or two – whether you’re on the right plan for you and your situation.
Lots of great advice here truely. The plan is only the half of it and its then looking at your router, how much it can handle with so many devices connected at once. Its something i definitely should be upgrading but i just know its going to be such a pain to change everything over
I remember my husband talking about this upgrade recently and said that we can’t get FTTP in our area. We have Fibre to the Node, which is not as good, but still okay for our household.
Fibre To The Premises is definitely the way to go. We wanted to get it in our last rental, as our internet provider was offering a better value plan with free upgrades, but it would have meant needing to do work in the walls. Hopefully closing on our home shortly and it’ll be one of the first things I organise
One of the rare families without WiFi?! I do work from home, but only one day a week, so hot spot from my phone! My little man isn’t in primary school yet, so appreciate I’ll need it down the track no doubt! But want to put it off for a long as possible.
This has not been something I have ever really considered. I know when i signed up for internet i had options but I have not considered it since. Now that I do work from home more and my child loves games that need the internet, this article is timing and has made me think about whether the speed we have is right for our family. Interesting ! I haven’t heard of this nbn plan yet, in fact I’ve no clue on what type of plan we are. But we do have multiple bedrooms, devices and family members online at the same time indeed for study, down loads, work, online meetings, gaming and leisure of all kinds.
