  • Loved it so soft and great clean

    I love this mop head it was so soft straight out of the bag and so gentle on my floors but cleaned them really well. I definitely recommend this product and I will be purchasing it again in the future. Love the triangle design to be able to get in corners really well.

  • Huge improvement on the last one

    Having white tiles throughout my house I have to mop all the time! This was one of the best mops I’ve ever used! I love the fact it now has a scrub pad for quick scrubbing instead of having to get down and scrub it by hand, The ease of ringing out the water is fantastic and This mop leaves my floors super clean compared to any other mop I have used. I will continue to get the replacement heads to clean my floors!

  • Love the addition of the cleaning pad!

    The new Vileda Easy Wring & Clean Power 3in1 Microfibre Refill is a great update to the old refill. The addition of the cleaning pad makes it easier to clean off stubborn marks on the floor. The microfibre strands also pick up more dust and dirt.

    I did notice that this refill is a bit fluffier than the original one that came with the bucket, so it takes a bit more care to insert the mop into the wringing section of the bucket. Easy to get used to though.

  • Vileda Maid Cleaner Blessing

    The New Vileda Easy Wring and Clean Power 3in1 Microfibre Refill has such highly absorbent microfibre strands and red power zones. The mop head with synthetic fibres when combined with water, the fibres were found to loosen and thoroughly pick up bacteria and dirt and cleaned my floors to perfection. Actually removed stubborn spots (especially coffee spots). The red fibre in the mop head helped clear all my smears from my high gloss floor tiles. Also the triangular mop head shape is great for corner cleaning and under furniture - it really cleans all difficult to access places. It fits perfectly onto my mop handle. It actually removes more water, the floors dry very quickly and that is due to the really efficient spinning mechanism. Love that the microfibre head can be easily detached and machine washable. I truly believe it delivers a absolute thorough clean.

    Super absorbent 100% microfibre white strings, with the red powerfibres for superior dirt pick up - great cleaning power indeed. The red microfibre is the more abrasive part of the head.

    I intend to keep using instead of my steam mop. Would recommend.

    My children leave messes and slips on the floor and this mop just soo easy, quick to whip out and use and very lightweight too. I love how the swivel head means I can ring it out using floor lever. LOVE IT! 100%

  • BEST FLOOR MOB EVER

    At first I wasn't sure if my new Vileda East Wring & Clean Power 3in1 Microfibre Mob would do the job. After all I had been using a steam mop for years on my tiled floor. With the school holidays I had to babysit our grand fur baby for my son while he was away. She is a 14 year old Labrador who I would say is close to palative care. Dear old girl dribbles and has her accidents which put my new Vileda Mob to the test. It was brilliant and is without hesitation highly recommended. So quick and easy to use. Love it!

  • Better with every use

    I posted my review fairly early on upon using the new microfibre refill and I feel as though its just getting better and better! The more I use it the more useful I find it now its 'worn in' a little. My new textured tiles can be very stubborn but the microfibre centre pad addition is a lifesaver. I still use the original head also and its fantastic to be able to swap and change them out so easily and at the end of the day just pop them both in the washing machine. The cost of replacement heads to always have a fresh clean one at hand while the other is washing. I know this review is for the head specifically but honestly anyone even considering the Vileda mop should give it a go. BEST MOP EVER.

  • Such a great addition to my turbo mop

    I didn’t think my turbo mop experience could be improved - enter the new microfibre head. I love the central flat pad to help clean areas of tough dirt with ease. It’s gentle enough of the tiled floors but cleans exceptionally well. I love the fact that the mop head can be chucked in the washing machine when it needs refreshing.

  • Great addition to our cleaning supplies

    I was thrilled to be selected to try this. As we have a dog inside who loves to bring her muddy prints inside on the tiles. So this worked a treat. I have been using it for the last few weeks and I found it great and I have already priced it to buy a new one when needed.

    We did a big clean yesterday (moved out the washing machine and fridge) and mopped all behind there without no issues this mop head made it much easier this time around.

  • Easy mop!

    I have high gloss sealed cork floors and they are the biggest pain to mop. I was using 2 different mops to achieve a decent clean but not now with this mop. I was having to mop up excess water marks but the vileda microfibre mop head left no water marks and left my floor clean and shiny!! Definitely would recommend and will buy again ????

  • Stubborn stains are gone

    Love this new 3 in 1 mop refill. The cleaning pad in the centre does a great job with getting out those stubborn stains. Being that we have white floor tiles mainly all downstairs, this worked a treat. I did find I had to use more pressure to use the moo to ensure that the cleaning pad got to the areas of concern. Love that this can only be thrown in machine for a clean.

    I was really impressed with this refill and found it works much better than the previous version (2in1). It very easily got any marks off our vinyl & tile floors without any hard scrubbing. 7 Simple Ideas That’ll Save You Hours Every School Week

If every school week is more like an episode of Survivor at your place, don’t worry, you’re not alone! The struggle to stay on top of the school week mayhem is real – so we’ve put together a bunch of clever ideas to give you back some precious time (and sanity).

There’s nothing difficult about these tips, just solid advice and ideas from a mum who’s been in the school trenches for over a decade.

1. Teach The Kids To Make Some Simple Breakfasts

Hang on, this is about breakfast, why are we showing you a picture of mouth-watering cookies?! These are Four Ingredient Healthy Breakfast Cookies – perfect for a prep-ahead school day brekkie!

Depending on their age there are so many safe and easy breakfasts kids can make themselves. From toasties, to yoghurt pots prepped the night before or just cereal. Not having to make breakfast for everyone will literally save you hours every week!

2. Lay Out Clothes For The Week

Use a hanging organiser or labelled baskets for each day. Include uniforms, socks and undies. Kids can dress themselves without the drama of missing items. I’ll be honest, my kids’ uniforms are expensive, so I wash during the week as they only have a couple of sets. However, if nothing else, having just socks and underwear sorted for the week is an absolute lifesaver!

 

The other huge help is not having to pre-treat stains on my kids’ uniforms, nobody has time for that during the week! My extra tip here is to use a great quality laundry detergent that is powerful enough to remove stains in-wash, so you don’t need to worry about pre-treating. 4. Plan A Weekly School Admin Session

Answer school emails, sign permission forms, top up canteen accounts and check term calendars in one go instead of daily interruptions. You may only need to do this fortnightly or monthly, but just make sure you schedule it in your calendar. Trust me, it saves so much time compared to juggling things bit by bit!

5. Quick-Fire Cleaning Sessions

Set a timer for ten minutes in the afternoon, pop on some music and everyone tidies their zone. This includes the kids emptying their lunchboxes, washing their drink bottles, handing you any notes and putting their clothes in the wash. Small bursts like this stop the house turning into chaos by Friday.

6. Have A Snack Station

Keep a drawer or fridge shelf filled with ready portions. Kids can pack their own snacks for school, and also grab something to eat when they get home. Think ahead and include them in the weekly shopping – ask them what snacks they would like (and cross your fingers they’ll still like them all week!).

7. Set Up A Family Charging Station

One spot for iPads, laptops and phones. No searching for chargers or discovering a dead laptop ten minutes before school! Make sure each child puts their school device on charge when they get home, as part of their Quick-Fire Cleaning Session.

While we can’t promise your school weeks won’t have moments of chaos, taking some of these tips on board will save you time – even if it’s just five minutes here and there. It’s about building realistic habits for the whole family, that will hopefully bring some calm to the school week.

  • There are some great ideas here! I just use an old school paper calender but its so helpful to remember all the important dates – i always buy a family planner one so theres columns for each of us to write what were doing om certain days so we never run out of space! I need a snack station, but struggle to have healthy (or healthier) choices in the cupboard apart from the usual chips, rice crackers and museli bars!

  • There are some good hints here! I already do have a little snack station in my pantry – a large container filled with all sorts of bars, etc. It’s the first place the kids look for something to eat. I do like the idea of a charging station but I don’t think it would work in my house. Everyone seems to like charging things in their room and it could look messy with multiple cords.

Most of these I already do but it has reminded me to add a few other things to my list to organise before the school year starts in a couple of weeks. Helpful tips like this are so great as you can never remember everything and this sure has given me a few extra things to think about.

  • We do daily life admin because it simply makes life easier to stay on top of everything that is required to run a family and household. Planning and organisation is so vital for every family and for a household. It really is very important to stay on top of all things at all times.

  • I love this article. I can relate to a lot of these ideas. For instance, I have a snack shelf in my pantry so my kids can choose and pack their own snacks. No more asking them what they want. We also have a family charging station in the kitchen. iPads, laptops and phones are only allowed to be charged on the kitchen bench. I love the healthy cookies. I must give these a go. The family calendar system is a must too!

  • I totally agree with most of these. We bought some inexpensive cereal dispensers, and that made mornings much easier. And school admin? For me, that is every Wednesday right before a regular appointment. It fitted in perfectly, I never overlooked anything, and if I didn’t need it it was a glorious burst of free time.

  • I love this article and the tips and already follow many of them. I have always been a big fan of schedules and planners and they simply make sense and make sure everyone in the family is on task. I also love snack stations; one for the fridge and one for the pantry; again it makes sense and makes preparing food and lunchboxes and snack times easy.
