I love how small and compact this little window washer is, it’s simple to use and does a nice light even spray. I’ve just used dishwashing liquid and water and it took all the grubby kids handprints straight off my windows with no scrubbing needed, the spray was a light enough mist I didn’t have to use the squezzey on the other side but it would be helpful for bigger jobs in the future.

Isn’t she the sweetest window cleaner? Ever since Mouths of Mums sent us Oates window cleaner to review it’s been constantly in Lexi’s hands. Took her about a minute to figure out how to spray and wipe. I’m secretly happy I won’t need to clean windows now well from Lexi’s height and below ????????

Before, I just use a wet and soapy rug to wipe the glass in our windows and sliding doors but the rug makes the glass more dirty than clean. THANK GOODNESS for Oates complete window washer ’cause it makes cleaning very convenient. Highly recommended!

Gave this a go on my windows and shower screens and I am in love. I love having the cloth, rubber and spray all in one easy to hold tool. Normally cleaning mirrors and windows requires a few hands to bring everything along but this is a breath of fresh air. Very easy to use, comfortable to hold and use. Highly recommend this!

My new Oates complete window washer is really wonderful, I would definitely recommend this product. So easy to fill with water and detergent as desired then spray on the glass, the microfibre pad is excellent and the squeegee to dry off is first rate. I used it on the bathroom mirrors first and the result was great, then I cleaned all the windows so quickly and easily. It made light work of cleaning the glass door on our upstairs balcony. We have a much clearer view of the outdoors now thank you! Cleaning the microfibre pad after use was a breeze… looking forward to washing more windows! 🙂

Okay so first impression straight out of the box – this is going to be great. Well, it’s amazing! It’s so incredibly quick & easy to use. It cleans glass doors, windows and the pool gate so well. The beat feature – My 3yr old and 2yr old are absolutely obsessed with it! No matter where I put it, they find it and insist on cleaning the windows. So it’s a clear winner!

Well this is a great product. I hadn’t even thought to use this prior but I am converted and love it. I have 2 mini monsters that can’t help but touch my clean windows leaving grubby little handprints as evidence so I couldn’t wait to try this out. I used a small amount of detergent and then water and put it to the test. It is a great design, easy to hold and operate. Very effective at removing the marks on the window with very little effort. Such a handy little cleaning tool that I definitely recommend trying. As you will see from my photo the great job it did removing my kids grubby handprints.

I love how durable the container and spray is. Being able to fill it with my own cleaner or purchasing the Oats one are both great options for everyone’s needs.

I love this, my son loves to put his sticky fingerprints all over my car windows and throughout the house. It’s very convenient to have a few products together as one to get rid of the prints much faster than usual! Genius Beach And Pool Tips Every Aussie Mum Should Know
Summer beach and pool days are core childhood memory creators, but getting the kids out the door, not so much! From wrestling wriggly toddlers into rashies to arguing with teens trying to dodge sunscreen and cramming half the house into the car, the exhaustion can kick in before we’ve even set foot on the sand!
But there are some very clever tips that will make even the most stressful summer days smooth sailing – and the Mouths of Mums community know them all! Pack Smart, Not Big
Do you feel like you take waaayyy too much when you head to the beach or pool, and then you seem to forget a couple of key things that would have made life so much easier?

Get Safety Sorted Before The Fun Starts
It’s pretty hard to get the kids’ attention once you’re at the beach or pool, so the safety talk should really start at home. Our mums recommend chatting to the kids about:
Swimming between the flags at the beach
Setting a meeting spot in case anyone gets separated
Sunscreen: Always apply sunscreen 20 minutes before heading outdoors. And set alarms to reapply every two hours throughout the day. Reapply immediately after swimming or using a towel.

Snacks are a must, but it can be tricky to know what’s going to survive a hot, Aussie summer day – and what’s good for hungry tummies. Here’s what our mums recommend:
Chopped fruit

Boiled eggs
Drink bottles that have been frozen overnight
“We have a few allergies/intolerances, so being prepared with food is helpful and saves us the search and some money. I pre-chop carrots, cucumber, apples, boiled egg, in a handy separating container, a packet of chips, dip, and bring water bottles. If it’s a longer day planned at the beach I’ll bring lunch too.” – MoM Member
A chaos-free beach day. Yes please!
You don’t need a military-style plan to enjoy a sunny day out. A beach trolley, some prep, and an easy sunscreen like SmartMist™ are enough to help things run calmly – or at least calm-ish!

My biggest tip is to be very clear who’s watching the kids, especially when they’re in the water. Like, actually verbally hand over and make sure it’s acknowledged if you’re going somewhere (like to the bathroom). That can definitely save lives, but also save panics about lost kids in crowded spaces.
Some really good tips here! I had no idea about the talcum powder hack – who would have known! That is amazing and I will definitely try it next time we go to the beach! It is definitely worthwhile getting things ready the night before though, especially if you want to leave before midnight lol.
