  • Amazing Product

    This afternoon was Nate's (6months) first dinner trial. The Philips Avent 4-in1 Healthy Baby Food maker Recipe book is fantastic! The recipes are super easy to follow and nutritional. I loved having the images to follow also. After a quick peel and chop of the vegetables it was just a matter of adding water, placing the jug on and pressing a button. 20mins after letting the steamer do its thing all I had to do was flip it over and give it a quick blend. 40 seconds and it was at the perfect consistency and ready for bub. I could not be happier.

  • Nothing compared

    I\'ve now had the chance to use a similar type product and it honestly does not compare to this one.

    For me it has ticked all the boxes. It\'s easy, it\'s quick, it\'s healthy, it\'s so easy to clean and it doesn't take up much bench space at all. I could not be happier with it. My son has loved trying all the new recipes and I\'ve loved making them. I will again mention that the instruction booklet is probably the only downfall but again it\'s so easy to use you can figure it out.

  • Perfect for busy mums

    I am incredibly happy with the Philips Avent 4-in-1 healthy baby food maker. It's easy of use makes dinner time a breeze. I now have a nice freezer stash of healthy meals to choose from for my little one and I know exactly what is in each meal prepared. And defrosting is so simple without the need to put it in the microwave (where i would be zapping out the good stuff).

    As a mum of 4 quick and easy is definitely something I look for in a product and this has ticked all the boxes for me, including how quick and easy it is to clean.

  • Perfect product for the busy parent

    We were excited to test out the new Philips Avent Healthy Baby Food Maker & rightly so as it has exceeded all our expections so far. With 4 young children, it's been fantastic for us as it's quick, easy to use, easy to clean & doesn't involve washing up a heap of extra pots & pans. Our baby is 6 months old & only just started on solids. He did not like the texture of the rice cereal so we steamed & pureed up some fresh sweet potato which was super smooth, he loved it! Not only that, I've been able to make up a heap of extra meals for him & freeze them for the next month. Safe to say, we're loving it & hubby is even using it.

  • Great new edition to our family

    We've now had this for approx 3 weeks. I've used it, hubby has used it, our 8.5yr old has used it, my neighbour has used it & even my Nan has given it a whirl. When asking each of them their thoughts on it...

    - Hubby says... "It's great! Easy to use & doesn't take up much room on the bench" (My thoughts... Hope this gets him in he kitchen more often)

    - Mr 8.5yr old says... "Can I help you more mum" (My thoughts... If only!)

    - My neighbour... "I'm keen to get one for my next bub, so easy to use" (She's pregnant with her 4th)

    - My Nan says... "I want one so I can make pumpkin soup & apple/pear purees for myself, so easy to use & it's a great size just for me" (She lives on her own)

    Obviously with Mr 9 using it, he was well supervised as we all know what hot steam is like. He was very careful & I was the one to remove the lid after he had blended it.

    All Round we're all loving it & it's been a fantastic new edition to our family.

  • Quick and easy.

    Love my baby food maker more and more each day. I've preped and frozen a variety of baby meals now. This week whilst I have had a cold it has been a life saver. The defrost and heat mode has been fantastic. I've been able to use some of my back up meal supply and know that my baby is still getting the best nutritional meal.

  • Still love it!

    This is my 3rd week using the Avent food maker and I'm still loving it! It's just so easy and doesn't take up much time at all. Even hubby had a turn and thought it was great.

  • Makes mealtimes easy

    After using a few times now I'm still surprised at how easy making my own nutritious meals for my little one are. I love knowing exactly what is going into the meals for my son. We now have a few different meal choices in the freezer. I'm yet to try meats but plan to later in the week. The only down side is trying to figure out what the instructions are trying to explain but being that the baby food maker is pretty straightforward anyway it hasn't been a big issue.

    Cleaning the babyfood maker is incredibly simple my only concern is any water left in the bottom of the jug not draining fully and I haven't worked out if it's possible to pull that part off to dry out completely.

  • Cleaning the Avent food maker

    Today I cooked pears for my daughter. Once cooked I turned the jug around and did a quick bliz. I put all the bits that needed cleaning in to the dishwasher. Loving how the food maker does everything for me and then I just need to put the bits into the dishwasher. Quick and Easy! just what a busy mum of 3 needs.

    This food maker is easy to clean, it is very simple and easy to use. I can make many and varied recipes for some very healthy baby food and beyond.   • Great invention

    This 4 in 1 baby food maker is one that I would recommend to anyone and all family and friends with children and babies. If you like to make all your own baby food so you know there is no additives or nasties this is a great product to buy. It's really quite easy to use and makes some very versatile foods. It is cost effective and also not a dear product for similar on the market. I will sure use it for my next baby quite happily. Thank you

  • after 2 months still love

    I've been using the baby food maker for almost 2 months now and still absolutely love it. The consistency of the purée is perfect and it is so easy to wash. It stores away in very little space and the thaw function makes those impossible days seem a bit more manageable.

  • Still a winner

    I've been using this baby food maker for 4 weeks now and is still a winner.

    I haven't even put it away from my bench since i got it. I use it all the time.

    Soups, sauces, purees...

    I replaced flour adding veggies on my baking. Eg. Steamed pumpkin bread, sweet potatoes hash brown, beetroots ravioli...

  • Steam finger food

    Used the steam function without blending to make finger foods for an older baby. Steamed slices of until soft and froze them. Some of the apple got cooked to mush, so next time I'll steam for a shorter time (steamed for 20 mins). Haven't tried serving the frozen slices yet, so unsure how they'll turn out. It is an easy way to get baby's finger food ready while cooking the rest of the family dinner. Will try other fruit/veg later and see if it works.

    As a mum of young ones, I want to ensure they are eating healthy food. But we are often so time poor our family diets do suffer at times.   • A multi food helper

    I have tried to 4 in 1 healthy baby food maker and I have to say I quite enjoyed the experience. I don't really find it to be much quicker than other ways of cooking baby food but it certainly felt easier. I recommended one to my friend who had a new baby and wanted to make all baby food from scratch. The good thing about this 4 in 1 cooker is that it does multiple things and therefore helps in a small environment and multi purpose machine.

    The Phillips agent 4-in1 healthy baby food maker is the best I have had a baby bullet before but this is so much bigger and convenient. Steam flip blend less washing up and the mixing pot is bigger so I can make more in one go then freeze for later

    My dad arrived with a very large pumpkin normally i would be like what am i going to do - i always would have lumpy bits but with the Avent food maker no more lumpy bits! unless you really want them!! we made batches of plain pumpkin mash for the whole family and it was great as the jug is so large didn\\\'t take long at all... then my friend suggested pumpkin and pear, pumpkin and potatoes...pumpkin and pear was surprisingly was quiet tasty! lots of pumpkin meals in the freezer in the handy pots which is great as i know how nutritional what i have made is and i know there is notjing added to it ....have leant the machine to my friend to try and so she can see how easy it is to use

  • Carrot purée

    I made puréed carrots while making a roast, just chopped up a few extra carrots and put them on to steam while I chopped up other veges for dinner. I'll use the carrots mixed with shredded meat and a grain such as rice or cous cous. It made about five patty pan sized servings, and I froze the extras in a silicon muffin tin.

    This week we made pumpkin soup in the advent! It was so fast and delicious! My babe now has lots of frozen nutritious meals ready to heat up in seconds, so easy to use and clean .

  • Quick and easy.

    Love my baby food maker more and more each day. I've preped and frozen a variety of baby meals now. This week whilst I have had a cold it has been a life saver. The defrost and heat mode has been fantastic. I've been able to use some of my back up meal supply and know that my baby is still getting the best nutritional meal.

  • Easy to use

    Made red apple purée and could leave the skins on because of the blend function-great as much of the nutrients in fruit and veg is in the skin. Easy to swap from steam to blend function, just flip upside down-excellent design idea. Easy to clean, with no tricky little bits and pieces.

  • Still love it!

    This is my 3rd week using the Avent food maker and I'm still loving it! It's just so easy and doesn't take up much time at all. Even hubby had a turn and thought it was great.

  • Tried it before and it’s definitely one of the better companies to do surveys with. They make it so easy, the website is easy to navigate and the surveys are generally not too long. It’s easy to do whilst on the couch or filling in time! Definitely worth checking out to earn some extra cash.

  • Purkle is fun! Not a lot to earn from but if you like filling up surveys or voicing ypir opinions, it is definitely worth a try. Sometimes there are survey on music which are the most fun ones and also, these are the ones that reward the most. Not bad to earn a gift card or 2 in a year!

  • I love Purkle. While the surveys don’t award massive sums, the surveys themselves are never long. Other platforms want a minimum of 10 minutes which can be hard to commit to during day time chaos. It doesn’t take long to accumulate a decent sum, and I use gift cards as a way to treat myself. They can be redeemed for grocery gift cards. I’ve cashed out over $200 in a year and a half. Give it a go!

  • I’ve been with Purkle for a few years now. One of my favourite survey and money earning platforms. Easy to build up a balance and redeem your earnings. Love sitting down and completing my purkle surveys, to see balance grow. I use this to treat myself or put towards presents for Christmas

  • I’m not having any luck with purkle. I tried to sign up for it and it just wasn’t working so I emailed them and didn’t hear back, I just tried again now and managed to create an account but then the activation email contained no link to click and actually activate my account. From the comments here it looks like I’m not missing anything anyway

  • I’ve earnt a bit through Purkle and other survey sites. They are great passive income. I don’t mind that Purkle pays in gift cards as it provides a great opportunity for me to buy something for myself as opposed to putting cash away for expenses. But cash is always good!

  • Surveys have been great to keep me awake while feeding my newborn at night but I agree with some of the comments that the time commitment is too high for the benefit. I do not believe i will continue using it once baby starts to sleep through and get through feeds quicker.

  • I tried Purkle for approx 1 year and quite frankly it’s really not worth your time
    Very few surveys and very low amounts paid
    Worst thing is it only pays in gift cards so no cash
    I gave up and just stuck with my original survey site that I’ve been using for years
    It makes me $120 average in PayPal a week without too much effort and supplies the family with an annual holiday without touching the household budget

  • It’s a shame I’m already a member and can’t enter the competition. Surveys in general – including Purkle – can be a good way to earn some money, but just remember you won’t earn much from any one survey. It does add up over time though, and isn’t particularly difficult to do.

  • This is a nice way to earn a bit extra money but you won’t earn a lot. Some surveys time out too which is annoying or hey just stop working half way through. If you have spare time and want to do it then why not. I sometimes do these on the train on my way to work and it slowly builds up to allow you to get a reward. It all helps.

  • I joined Purkle ages ago but to be honest I have never used it and totally forgot that I joined let alone that I could be earning money and points while being at home. Any opportunity to make some money and try to help financially, off I go to rejoin I think!

  • Purkle is a great surveys site. I’ve redeemed vouchers from there. You’re not going to make a fortune from it but you do definitely earn for your time. I haven’t done any for a while as I just haven’t had rhe time but I’ll definitely get back into it. The vouchers always come in handy.

  • The inner sceptic in me will prevent me signing up! I’m not against a survey, however I would rather do one here and there when I can with the incentive of winning something big! Even a $100 voucher. At the rate I win, it works out better than signing up for this.

  • I’ve neer been on Purkle yet. Although I have nothing against having your say and sharing your thoughts, advice and opinions there is one thing that I hate and that is surveys ! Quite often the available answers to chose from do not resemble my thought and you end up chosing the answer that comes closest to your ideas, but is not really it.

  • Some of these surveys can’t be done on your phone and they can be quite repetitive. I earn $20 every few months and these days, every little bit helps with the cost of living

  • I do the occasional survey for some extra money or when I want to treat myself to something a little special. I actually saved my survey fly buys dollars and treated myself to a Kitchen Aid mixer. It was worth all the time doing the surveys as it allows me to make lunch snacks so much quicker

  • I love doing surveys but I do find they time out a lot after you have spent time doing them. It is a great little way to make some extra cash on the side. You need to have the time to do these regularly and working full time I don’t these days but still love to earn a few dollars when I can.
