My wrist doesn't get sore from tilting the iron to stand now, as with this iron you can just lay it flat the entire time. It saves so much time not having to refill the water all the time. Now I fill it once and it lasts through my whole ironing pile. Best of all I never have to worry about burning holes in clothes as it automatically adjusts the temperature for perfect iron on any fabric and I can go straight from satin to denim with no adjusting.
I use this for my professional ironing business and have been able to now increase my customer numbers but decrease my workload. The best thing is that I no longer get a sore wrist as you don't need to stand this iron up, you just leave it flat on the ironing board. Also you can go straight from silk to denim and there's never any heat or fabric settings to change. Finally, an iron that thinks like a woman! I'd recommend it to anyone, I just wish I'd got mine sooner!
I tried a friends one of these. While I wouldn't go out and send this sort of money on a iron (and I'm comparing it to a 20 year old, hand me down, never been maintained iron) but ot really was significantly better then anything I've ever used in the past.
Granted I don't iron a lot, I definitely liked the feel, weight, functionality of this iron. It worked fast and really well and holds a decent amount of water so you don't have to fill it often. The not having to change settings and continuous steam ideas made it really easy and quick to use.
If you're a keen or frequent ironer I would definitely recommend this iron!
My mum has brought one of these, she so in to her ironing. I really hate ironing, but it has to be done as my husband has a lot of shirts, anyway I decided to test out my mums and I loved it straight away, so much easier to iron. I am going to get one as soon as possible.
I was in a shopping centre the other day & there wash lady demonstrating this exact iron. I mentioned I had seen this & it looks wonderful, well she showed me how it works & I must say I was more than impressed. Seeing as I don't mind ironing, not one bit at all in fact I find it therapeutic (something terribly wrong with me but I don't mind housework either), I would so love this. I went to iron my black garments yesterday but gave up as my iron leaves horrid marks so this would be perfect timing. Oh how this would make my life that bit easier & I'd even name her Phillipa, she would be a most welcome addition to our family & she'd be very well cared for :). How my clothes would love Phillipa too & as I work in an office my clothes need ironing.
I haven't selected to review this Philips Pefectcare aqua but after reading the reviews of fellow moms I can imagine how awesome is it. I've seen the ironing result & now decoded to buy one for me.because with my current iron it's hard to iron the fancy dresses which comes with some pearl & stone on it,& for those I thnk perfect care aqua would be great.so now I'll buy one for me or if before that another available for review then I'll go for it.
One month later and still loving the Philips PerfectCare Aqua!
After using the Aqua for a month now, I can honestly say I have ironed more in the past few weeks than I had in the last few months. I find myself ironing everything now rather than just the 'good clothes' , school uniforms and work clothes. It is so easy with such a great finish, and really is no chore.
I can imagine those who iron for a living would find the Philips PerfectCare Aqua brilliant, and it would make their workload much easier. I don't think I could ever do that myself, but with 5 of us we always have a pile (affectionately know as Mt Washmore ), that is now a lot less daunting to tackle.
The finished result is professional with minimum effort. What's not to 'like' about that?
From the very first item I could get my hands on, I was in love with my iron. It was a pair of thick, heavy shorts.... you know the kind... the ones with pockets in all different directions with heaps of extra fabric in the pockets. I normally struggle for quite some time getting these shorts to look decent. Well, I got my iron ready to go, and these were first off the pile... not long after, these were in my completed pile. I started to iron the next item without thinking too much. Then I realised what I'd done. They were finished so quickly, I must have only done half... missed a leg??.... missed a side?? So I picked them up to have a look. Perfectly ironed shorts - without the struggle. I'm in love... with my Philips PerfectCare Aqua!!

I have to say that this iron is no passing fad. It is a keeper. At the moment it lives on the dinning table. It doesn't have a permanent home yet but I am quite content to leave My Aqua right where it is for the moment. That way I can just turn it on when needed and I can drag the rickety old board into the lounge and watch a movie while ironing away. Suits me for the moment! I am still surprised that I am actually ironing all the time now. But I do enjoy using My Aqua so I don't mind ironing now. I enjoy it so much because I am actually seeing results!
This is an incredible iron! Every iron I have ever owned has been rubbish, they leaked, burned, stuck or just wouldn't iron. This has all changed now that I have My Aqua!
It is so powerful yet so gentle. I can iron anything (and everything)! From the toughest fabrics to the most delicate. This iron takes care of them all!
I don't need to worry about setting the temperature because this smart little iron does it for me. After all ironing isn't rocket science so I should need a degree just to figure out the best setting.
And I can iron jeans, then silk, then cotton in any order without having to pre sort.

I hated ironing and never thought there would be an iron that would impress me, but I was wrong. I am impressed. It has changed my mind about ironing. It is no longer frustrating, it is a dream with My Aqua.
Overall there is nothing a can fault with this iron. It is easy to use, a joy to use! It gets the job done so quickly. It's not too noisy. It doesn't leave the clothes wet. It refreshes clothes. Cuts ironing time. There's no fiddling with dials. It give professional results!
I have been using the Philips Perfectcare Aqua for some time, and have some thoughts:
Firstly, the iron is a pleasure to use, the designers seem to have thought of everything, from the smooth glide soleplate to fast heat up time, this one beats any other iron I have tried.
Secondly, the iron offers a trigger action or continuous steam option, which is a big bonus in my book as it means I can power through and get my work done in a fraction of the time.
Thirdly, the standout feature is the self adjusting feature that means you can go from cottons to silks with no need for changes.
If I were to suggest an improvement, which is a hard task, it would be to highlight the water markers on the base to make them easier to read.
Overall, this is a stand out product in terms of quality, practicality and usability. I would recommend this iron over both standard or other steam generating irons.
ironing is a chore in most homes and we all seem to hate it, it is expensive to have some one else do it, and everything that we wear does look better when it is ironed, I have a Phillips Perfect care Aqua and it is a life saver, I believe that is cuts my ironing time in at least half, and the quality of the ironing is so much better, I find that I can do a weeks worth of ironing in about an hour, and I iron everything including all my kids tshirts, in fact one of my teenage boys once said that once you have ironed t shirts you never go back, mind you I have never managed to get him to the ironing board yet, these irons are more expensive than the standard iron but worth every cent to not have the never ending ironing basket.

Never thought I would ever enjoy doing the ironing, it slide and glide rhrought the clothes do easy I would never ever go back to a $30 iron it is well wroth the money. If u have the money buy one
This iron takes out all the guess work out of ironing, you could be an amateur, but get a proffesional result with ease.
Instead of using straight heat which could cause burns or shine on your clothes and having to adjust temperatures for different fabrics, the fact that the iron runs on steam means that you don't have to worry about any of that.
The water tank is huge and allows you to use a large amount of steam at a time for great results without having to worry about refilling the tank.
Switching from a normal iron to this steam iron only took a couple of minutes to get used to and I'm sure it's going to make my life a lot easier.
This iron is by far the best iron I have ever used in my life. No guessing about the right temperatures, or settings, no worrying about having an iron that is always leaking water all over my clean clothes. This iron takes out all the guesswork and leave you with beautiful, crisply ironed clothes.
I'm not a person who irons, in fact I will go far out of my way to avoid this chore however a recent career change for my husband meant I had to face this fear and step up to the board! I was daunted at first when I went to purchase an iron which is why I chose the Perfectcare Aqua. It manages to tackle a multitude of fabric with ease and produce a pretty good result without too much technique know how, I will admit I am getting better but its great to know like an automatic car you just have to put your foot down and away you go!

Well....not sure if anyone can love ironing, but sure takes hard work out of it. I sometimes get in an ironing lady to free up my time. Whilst I didn’t get to review this’d reticular I would sooooooo love too. I don’t mind ironing at all, never have, have always found it very relaxing & therapeutic a bit like cooking & housework. I know this sounds rather strange but I find mundane chores five me a feeling of being productive. I need to keep busy so working during the day achieves this & I’d love to be busy with this wonderful iron. I actually think household appliances are a great product review. I even used to iron for cash back in the day when money was scarce, I will love this iron so much & appreciate it every minute of every day. I think I’d even polish it from time to time & his name would be Phillip lol
I am starting to drive my man crazy hoping I can review or win this. I LOVE ironing, I find it very relaxing & therapeutic maybe because I have OCD but I iron garments very well, could iron all day, every day, I really REALLY could. I used to iron other ladies clothes for money when I was,a stay at home mum working part time during day, ironing at night with BeeGees playing in the background. My iron leaves tacky marks on garments, I work in a corporate office & dry cleaning is soooooo expensive. I leave home @ 7am, get home @ 7pm, loooong day. We have 3 adult children who turn up with their laundry & want ironing done. I will charge my adult children $10 per hour for their ironing,maybe $15 as they have jobs & one earns more than me, go meeeeee. I would so love to review or win the iron. Getting ready for the return to school has started to kick in so this was a timely read. We have the yum box and i love it, it is so easy for my daughter to open and close on her own. I need to do some more research this year as i like the idea of being able to watch it in the washing machine, that is a clever idea.
Along with all of the other back to school products; there is also a good range of lunch boxes available for people to buy. It has been fun to see the wide range of bottles and lunch boxes that are available for the new year for school and for work.
Lunch boxes have come such a long way since my eldest was a kid, he’s now 26! There’s really a solution to everything from food heating, cooling, dividers, pockets etc etc. Lunch boxes are a real fashion accessory and so on-trend these days. I personally love the Bento lunch boxes. They save on plastic and separate different foods.
I am such a huge fan of Bento lunch boxes and Bento. Food should be so many wonderful things; including delicious, fun, colourful and nutritious too. Lunch is a favourite meal because the body is ready for some more calories and a boost of energy. Food looks so good in Bento lunch boxes.
So so many fantastic options! We use the montii co ones for our kdis and swear by it. Its lasted 3 years so far and still standing strong, like new since the first day using it. They are so durable and i find cleaning them to be the easiest for us.
There are so many great lunch box option out there indeed ! I’ve always liked the Bento style lunch boxes for my kids. It reduces the use of plastic lunch bags and packaged food which aren’t very good for the environment and it encourages to present a good variety of foods (which is not only better nutrition wise but lao to prevent our kids from getting bored with same foods all the time.
There are some really fabulous options here. So many variations of colour, shape and size. I love the bento style lunch boxes, so handy to keep food separate and eliminate the use of plastic packaging. The machine washable bags are a great idea too. They can get grubby so fast, this would be so much easier to maintain
This has gotten much easier since my kids hit high school – they have strong opinions about their lunch boxes, so I don’t have to think about it so much anymore! However, I am strongly in favor of bento style boxes regardless of their age. They’re easy to clean, easy to pack, and invite appropriate sized portions.
Great article! Our kids are so lucky, when it comes to lunchboxes, they really are spoilt for choice. There are so many to pick from. Regarding sandwiches, my eldest son, used to hate sandwiches for school lunches. It wasn’t until many years later that I discovered that he’d throw out his sandwiches in the playground bins. My son’s an adult now and he still hates sandwiches. He only likes “hot” lunches. So glad he lives on his own now and can make his own “hot” lunches just the way he likes them.

This is super useful article and thank you. I can see so variety of lunch boxes from every store. Always wonder which one would be more convenient to use by little hands. I love some of these lunchboxes to give it a try for this year. And then decide to go with suitable ones
Wow, lunch boxes have really come such a long way from when I was taking a lunch box to school. Feel old, like “back in my day”, but we were lucky to have options like are available now. While I like some of these designs, I feel like they aren’t super practical.
These lunchboxes are beautiful but are they really worth the expensive price tag? I have been through so many lunch boxes and bags over the years and found the best it to use an insulated lunchbox bag with ice brick and use small containers to keep individual items fresh and assessable.
I love the bbox lunch boxes. They are so reliable and tough when kids throw their bags around. Easy to wash and store. I have used the we can be tiny snackies at home too. The boys love choosing a certain animal shape. They wash well, are durable and great quality.
My kids are old enough now to pack their own lunches and I am so happy to see the great choices they are making. They take left over meals, cook food in the morning to take and now I am confident they aren’t throwing away sandwiches! I do have the chilly bags for them, I find they fit better into bags
My daughter uses a bento box now for work and sometimes an insulated bag in summer, but when she was at school it was a rectangular lunch box with no compartments. It was very easy to wash each day, just the box and lid, and it could still be filled with rolls/sandwiches and snacks.
Lunchboxes are so important these days. Back in my day it was a brown paper bag or the exact same lunch box that everyone else had and there were three compartments. Today its such a fashion statement and as much as the lunchbox itself is judged so are the contents.

What a time saver!
My wrist doesn't get sore from tilting the iron to stand now, as with this iron you can just lay it flat the entire time. It saves so much time not having to refill the water all the time. Now I fill it once and it lasts through my whole ironing pile. Best of all I never have to worry about burning holes in clothes as it automatically adjusts the temperature for perfect iron on any fabric and I can go straight from satin to denim with no adjusting.

Granted I don't iron a lot, I definitely liked the feel, weight, functionality of this iron. It worked fast and really well and holds a decent amount of water so you don't have to fill it often. The not having to change settings and continuous steam ideas made it really easy and quick to use.
If you're a keen or frequent ironer I would definitely recommend this iron!

One month later and still loving the Philips PerfectCare Aqua!
I can imagine those who iron for a living would find the Philips PerfectCare Aqua brilliant, and it would make their workload much easier. I don't think I could ever do that myself, but with 5 of us we always have a pile (affectionately know as Mt Washmore ), that is now a lot less daunting to tackle.
The finished result is professional with minimum effort. What's not to 'like' about that?

My Aqua
I have to say that this iron is no passing fad. It is a keeper. At the moment it lives on the dinning table. It doesn't have a permanent home yet but I am quite content to leave My Aqua right where it is for the moment. That way I can just turn it on when needed and I can drag the rickety old board into the lounge and watch a movie while ironing away. Suits me for the moment! I am still surprised that I am actually ironing all the time now. But I do enjoy using My Aqua so I don't mind ironing now. I enjoy it so much because I am actually seeing results!
This is an incredible iron! Every iron I have ever owned has been rubbish, they leaked, burned, stuck or just wouldn't iron. This has all changed now that I have My Aqua!
It is so powerful yet so gentle. I can iron anything (and everything)! From the toughest fabrics to the most delicate. This iron takes care of them all!
I don't need to worry about setting the temperature because this smart little iron does it for me. After all ironing isn't rocket science so I should need a degree just to figure out the best setting.
And I can iron jeans, then silk, then cotton in any order without having to pre sort.
It is beautifully designed and so easy to use. It make ironing easier than ever before whilst still delivering professional results!
So far I haven't come across any negatives, and I am pretty sure that there is none.
I hated ironing and never thought there would be an iron that would impress me, but I was wrong. I am impressed. It has changed my mind about ironing. It is no longer frustrating, it is a dream with My Aqua.
Overall there is nothing a can fault with this iron. It is easy to use, a joy to use! It gets the job done so quickly. It's not too noisy. It doesn't leave the clothes wet. It refreshes clothes. Cuts ironing time. There's no fiddling with dials. It give professional results!

Great Product
Firstly, the iron is a pleasure to use, the designers seem to have thought of everything, from the smooth glide soleplate to fast heat up time, this one beats any other iron I have tried.
Secondly, the iron offers a trigger action or continuous steam option, which is a big bonus in my book as it means I can power through and get my work done in a fraction of the time.
Thirdly, the standout feature is the self adjusting feature that means you can go from cottons to silks with no need for changes.
If I were to suggest an improvement, which is a hard task, it would be to highlight the water markers on the base to make them easier to read.
Overall, this is a stand out product in terms of quality, practicality and usability. I would recommend this iron over both standard or other steam generating irons.

Proffesional results with minimal effort
Instead of using straight heat which could cause burns or shine on your clothes and having to adjust temperatures for different fabrics, the fact that the iron runs on steam means that you don't have to worry about any of that.
The water tank is huge and allows you to use a large amount of steam at a time for great results without having to worry about refilling the tank.
Switching from a normal iron to this steam iron only took a couple of minutes to get used to and I'm sure it's going to make my life a lot easier.

Philips PerfectCare Aqua
Whilst I didn’t get to review this’d reticular I would sooooooo love too. I don’t mind ironing at all, never have, have always found it very relaxing & therapeutic a bit like cooking & housework. I know this sounds rather strange but I find mundane chores five me a feeling of being productive. I need to keep busy so working during the day achieves this & I’d love to be busy with this wonderful iron. I actually think household appliances are a great product review. I even used to iron for cash back in the day when money was scarce, I will love this iron so much & appreciate it every minute of every day. I think I’d even polish it from time to time & his name would be Phillip lol
