  • My lifesaver.

    Best thing I have found with this iron is it is so efficient, easy to use , time saver and delicate. Now I can happily iron clothes at home , specially my eight minths old baby’s clothes as they are small in size, but with this iron size doesn’t matter. Moreover, my husband also likes this. Now he started helping me to iron clothes which he never did before because it is really so gentle. And I am also thankful to my best friend who has shown this iron to me when I visited her last time. I can only see its pros. That’s why would highly recommend to the mums.Thanks

  • wrinkle free uniforms

    For the past few weeks I have been using the Philips Perfectcare to iron my husbands RAAF uniforms and one of the unexpected results was that the fabric remained soft and comfortable and not stiff or crunchy as normally happens to some degree particularly if you need to use starch.
    Husband is very happy with the outcome partiularly as its been quite cold still on the tail of winter so a soft uniform is much cosier than a still one.

  • Perfect for sewing

    This year has been our first book week so we thought we’d try and make it memorable with some home costume making. My daughter decided she wanted to go as omelette from PJ Masks which naturally has a fiddly ‘wings’ cape. we used the Philips perfect care easily to iron all the fabric before starting and then again as we progressed to ensure the fiddly sections didn’t twist or bunch and sat nicely as we assembled all the pieces.
    I could see this iron being incredibly useful for quilters and serious sewers as its so quick and easy and is really gentle on all fabrics while still banishing all the wrinkles.

  • Best iron now I actually enjoy ironing

    The philips perfectcare elite steam generator iron has changed me from an iron as I need it person to an iron everything prior to putting away person. I’ve even been ironing my tea towels which I’ve never ironed previously.
    If the iron can have this effect on me then you know it must be good.
    I leave the iron permanently set up now so I can iron as things dry.
    My aunt has requested her partner gets one for her as an early Christmas present since she is in charge of ironing his work shirts.
    It has been very popular with everyone I’ve shown and got to test out themselves.
    The iron plates go over zips and seems effortlessly, and is gentle on all ironable fabrics. No need to change settings between fabrics and iron can be left face down on ironing board without burning

  • The only iron you'll ever want to use!!

    This iron really sells itself. It is so easy to use and has a large water canister that after solid use, still hasn’t needed topping up.
    The safety lock makes carrying the iron super easy and although the whole unit is quite big, it’s not overly heavy. It sits on my regular ironing board and fits fine whilst still allowing room to iron. If I had the correct set up however, I’d perch the unit on a bench to allow more ironing board room.
    The iron itself is light weight and easy to use. The ability to have a constant jet of stream is handy especially when ironing vertically.
    The unit is not very loud when in use. It gets the wrinkles and creases out of garments with ease.
    When hosting a ladies afternoon on the weekend I put a little demo on and got my girlfriends to test out the iron themselves. Everyone was most impressed and very envious of my latest appliance. I think they’ll be requesting one themselves

  • The best iron you'll ever use!!

    The Philips perfectcare elite steam generator iron is the best iron you will ever use!! It cuts ironing time considerably and is so gentle on even the most delicate of fabrics.
    It can be used on hanging garments as a vertical iron and is so light weight even my arthritic mother loves using it.
    The large water tank holds enough water that I don’t need to refill during use.

    This iron is so fast I have even started ironing the kids clothes! I would never iron their clothes before as they are just so small and fiddly, but with this iron its easy.

  • Outstanding with all materials and garments!

    So last night my partner mentioned he needed to Iron his work shirts and pants … I was more than happy to help and he was even wanting to iron them himself! That’s unheard of! He loves how light it is and that its actually something he enjoys!
    Cotton irons so well with the steam burst, and the more heavier cottons and the constant steam function really remove the wrinkles so easily.
    I love that I am confident in knowing that the iron will not burn my clothes, or the ironing board.. its a safe Iron which I really find an advantage!
    We got through so many shirts last night in record time.. and hubby loved doing it too!
    Without the need to set the temperature for different materials, it makes ironing faster, and I found that I only really needed to go over the fabric once and the wrinkles were gone.
    The Turbo mode (where I hold the steam button down) is what I love and I tend to use that most often. It produces a lot of steam but really is impressive! It makes ironing faster I find.
    If you want an iron which really does generate heaps of stem for faster results, then this iron is for you!
    Work shirts, work pants, jeans, cotton tops/t-shirts, bed sheets, pillow cases, scarves, doona covers, jackets.. this iron does it all without any chance of leaving iron or burn makes on your clothes!
    This is safe, fast and efficient -remarkable!

  • Ironing is a breeze with philips perfectcare elite steam generator iron

    I just can’t love this iron any more than I already do. My latest trial was testing out vertical ironing of my delicate dresses. The lightweight iron made this so easy and removed the creases right before my eyes. Usually I would send them to a dry cleaner for this to be done but after trialling the philips perfectcare elite steam generator iron on delicate fabrics and off cuts of the same dresses, I was confident that it would not damage the material. The ease of carrying the iron with the safety lock handle makes moving around the house very easy. The large water compartment which removes for filling steaight from the tap saves carting jugs of water and risking spills.
    I will be recommending the philips perfectcare elite steam generator iron to all my friends and family and more importantly, to other small handmade businesses who need to iron fabrics constantly like myself.
    This iron makes dress making a sinch!!

  • The most outstanding Iron I have ever used!

    I never in my life thought I would enjoy ironing and actually look forward to getting through a huge pile of ironing over the weekend… but I do! I use to hate this chore as my old iron was heavy and now I know why- because the water was contained inside the actual iron!
    Everyone who has used my iron absolutely LOVES it!
    The first thing that everyone comments on is how lightweight this iron is.. it makes such a big difference and you can iron for hours without aching… even refilling the water tank is an option I have not yet had to worry about as the tank lasts for hours.. its extremely convenient!
    I’ve never used a steam generator before so I was thrilled to have the chance to review this iron. This is a revolutionary way to iron, ladies and gents!
    It may be big and take up a bit of space on my ironing board, but the size is to cater for the huge water tank! Its so worthwhile!
    I absolutely LOVE that I can hold the steam on for as long as I like, or I can just use a quick jet of steam if I have a slight crease.. the two options are great and so easy to use.
    It gets a bit of getting use to to know that you can place the iron on the clothes or the board without any chance of ir burning what it is on… I never even thought that would be possible, but it is and its incredible! I prefer to leave the iron on the board face down though, than on the base of the iron.
    This is an incredible appliance and I am so happy to have one now- it exceeds my expectations and everyone who has seen it has been equally impressed. The colour is lovely, the water tank is huge, the steam options are outstanding and the results truly are unbeatable!
    If anyone is thinking about purchasing this steam generator, please don’t be put off by the size, but rest assured you will purchase a steam generator which will amaze you!

  • Makes iron easy

    This iron is so easy to use! It doesn’t burn, so you can leave it face down on the ironing board.
    The weight of the water stays in the base unit so the iron itself is nice and lightweight. This iron has so many amazing features – like being able to pick the temperature for what you’re ironing so no need to worry about fiddling with a temperature dial – I really like that. You can also do a vertical steam (like dress shops do) which is super handy. This is a worthwhile investment and so enjoyable to use. I think I enjoy ironing nowadays – really hated ironing before. Great product.

  • Light weight with steam to the extreme.

    OMG visited a girl friend at the weekend and while we were talking and catching up I noticed this Philips Perfectcare Elite Steam Generator Iron perched up top of her ironing board in the family room. I commented that I could have applied to try and review this iron on the mouthsofmums site but I had only just purchased a new iron 11/2 month prior to the invitation and thought I would leave the invitations open to mums who needed the product more. I did have to explain this site to her …so mom may get another new recruit. Any how I asked her if indeed I could give the iron a try. WOW it put my new iron to shame. The steam, the amount of it and the actual length the steam lasted was nothing short of amazing. The iron was light weight and glided over the cloths and I can actually say I enjoyed the ironing experience …my girlfriend also enjoyed the look on my face not to mention the fact I was ironing her basket of cloths.
    The only downfall I could see with this iron was the size (the huge size) of the actual unit (iron and base) the unit did take up quite a considerable amount of the ironing board space and if indeed you owned a small ironing board I dare say you may be in a bit of a pinch.
    GREAT iron though I was impressed.

  • The best iron ever produced!

    So after ironing for about 2 hours tonight I’m very happy to say this iron has completely changed my way of thinking when it comes to ironing. I’ve ironed ever type of fabric I can think of and every result has been outstanding.
    This iron is incredible. . The steam function is something I honestly cannot live without and I have two people who have now put it on their Christmas wish list! I will never go back to using a standard iron because this one is just so much lighter and functional and for once in my life I’m absolutely excited to do ironing. . Even offering to do the ironing for my friends!

  • You'll wish you had this iron earlier

    This is a fantastic iron with the most amazing features!
    It won’t burn your clothes. You don’t have to choose a temperature setting. It can turn off by itself. You can leave the iron face down on the board. It’s just the best iron there is!

    Glides easily over any fabric, this iron makes ironing easy for the moat reluctant ironed. The Phillips Perfect Care Elite is an iron I would definitely recommend!

  • This iron makes Ironing enjoyable!!!

    Ive been trialing this great iron for a few weeks now and I have zero complaints on its performance!
    I have covered in my previous reviews the internal water compartment colour and an improvement could be a different color (only because a few people have asked me if the water was clean.. that was only because the inside casing of the compartment was a gold colour giving the impression the water was dirty). This is not a fault, just a colour choice!
    I also think that if you are using this iron, to have a large ironing board or a lot of bench space. It seems a little heavy for my small board and I was first worried it may tip my ironing board over.. I certainly require a larger ironing board with more room!!
    The water compartment is HUGE, providing hours of uninterrupted ironing and no need to refill the water tank- this is such a pleasure and so much better than my smaller iron I had prior to this.
    The steam function is FABULOUS! Having the choice of steam bursts or constant steam is a fabulous advantage- the constant steam really helps with the tough creases and does speed up the ironing time. The steam is awesome!!!
    The iron itself is so very light… which is great for those with weak wrists. I compared this iron with my other iron and the weight difference was substantial.. I will never use an iron which holds the water in the actual iron again, because that really makes the iron heavy. I never realised the huge difference until I could do the comparison with this great steam iron.
    It doesn’t take long at all to heat up either, and the handle stops flashing once its ready. Its super fast and the blue light really looks pretty!
    All up, this iron is the best iron I have EVER used and if anyone is looking for a steam generator iron, I can confidently recommend this one as I know that everyone I have demonstrated this to have been incredibly happy- to the stage that they are holding onto their ironing just so I can bring mine over! Husbands are wanting to iron! THATS A WIN!!!

    The Phillips PerfectCare Elite Steam Generator iron is so easy to use. It’s a matter of filling the water reservoir, turning on and waiting for the beep after a couple of minutes then it’s go time! No fiddling with settings, no ridiculous instructions to follow. The vertical steam is insanely good! We have a commercial steamer from a well known clothing retailer that closed most of its stores. This steamer is top of the line but doesn’t compare to the Philips PerfectCare Elite. This iron would be perfect for clothing retailers, anyone with a wedding coming up and b&bs who want to powet through linens.

  • A fantastic iron!

    The iron came in a huge box! Lots of cushioning, but the base unit is quite large. A good bench area while ironing is perfect to ensure that the base is nice and level.

    I love how simple it is to use the iron. No guessing what temperature to set it at, the iron is smart enough to adjust to the fabric being ironed.

    Because it won’t burn fabric, you can leave it face down on the ironing board. It’s either this or return to the base station. The iron won’t stand up by itself, which took a little bit of adjustment as I’m so used to standing my old iron up after each pass.

    The iron is nice and light as the water for the steam is stored in the base unit. It glides nice and smoothly across all types of fabric.

    A wonderful iron and worth investing in for those that have piles of ironing to do!

  • This iron makes ironing child's play!

    The more I use the Philips Perfect Care Elite the more I enjoy it and the better it gets!
    The turbo function really helps speed things up and I find the water tank outlasts my ironing pile.
    Children from the age of eight can use this iron, so I taught my daughter! The same ease of use functions make it so safe for children. No worries when she placed it down on the ironing board, no need to change temperature settings and it is light enough or her to manage.
    If only her six year old sister was more keen to be doing the folding.

  • My friends love this Iron as much as me!!!

    So I caught up with some friends again over the weekend… and my Iron was invited!!! I wonder if they really wanted to see me, or just use my iron to iron their weeks worth of business shirts!!
    My friends are obsessed with this iron, and I know why- because it outperforms any other iron I have used and everyone who tries it also agrees!
    This is the revolution of Ironing.. everything looks so great afterwards and I use to buy clothes which didn’t require ironing as I HATED my previous iron and I hated ironing!
    Now, I’m purchasing tops with pleats and tops which do require ironing as they crease.. and I’m excited to be able to do that!!
    Ïroning is so fast and the iron is so light- not having to refill the water tank is a certain advantage, and I love the way I can hold my hand on the trigger and steam away for as long as I need to.. this really works on the badly creased clothes!
    This iron is amazing.. and I absolutely love ironing!

  • Ironing goals

    I took this baby along to a cleaning party so the mums could have a play when they were done with their shopping and the feedback was close to unanimous. Most of them loved this iron and said it was the best they’ve ever used. The other mum said she won’t iron no matter how good the iron is. Between kid wrangling and chatting I didn’t get a chance to show them how it works but they were able to work it out for themselves, it’s so easy to use.

  • The best iron you'll ever use!!

    The Philips perfectcare elite steam generator iron is the best iron you will ever use!! It cuts ironing time considerably and is so gentle on even the most delicate of fabrics.
    It can be used on hanging garments as a vertical iron and is so light weight even my arthritic mother loves using it.
    The large water tank holds enough water that I don’t need to refill during use.

  • Japan in a can? That really does sound interesting! I wouldn’t mind knowing what Japan tastes like 🙂 I love the idea of the grape flavour but I’m not sure about whiskey. It would definitely be an interesting mix. The trial team gave great feedback and I’m now even more interested in giving it a taste test

  • I wasn’t picked for this trial – what a shame – but it sounds quite tasty. I’m someone who likes to nurse a drink for a while (mostly because I don’t drink a lot in terms of quantity) and savor the drink. These sound like great options for drinkers like me.
