This will definitely replace our BBQ or regular pan frying - we cooked salmon on this and it was amazing. And the adjustable top means both sides get cooked without being squashed, and those grill lines are so sexy. Love the grill lines, can't get those from my regular pans, only on the BBQ. And the skin is crispy. And no oil required. It is also very easy to clean afterwards.

I love this sandwich press - which is more than just a sandwich press. It does a fantastic job of cooking just about anything that you would use a pan or BBQ..and without the messy clean up afterwards. And it's big enough to cook 6 sandwiches, or multiple items - saves time when making breakfast for the family.
The grill heats up fast and supplies enough heat to cook your food, not just sandwiches. I have used it for sandwiches, wraps, bacon and chicken skewers, and for crisping up pies and pastries if I am too lazy to chuck into the oven (would nuke in microwave first).
One outstanding feature is the ability to lock at any height - so bye bye squashed sandwiches! Also great when crisping up my pies, i can lower the top enough so it touches or is close enough to heat the top of the pie/pastry without squashing them. if I am making items like cheese toasties where it's ok to squash, then I the lock is not needed. However, for other items I can lower the lid to heat without squashing the food.
The grill is also very easy to clean - just wipe with paper towel. The non stick surface is excellent quality, and everything just comes off so easily. I do avoid sharp objects and stick to using plastic or silicon utensils to ensure grill surface lasts longer and to avoid scratches.
You can also lock the grill so it can stand up and be easily stored away upright. It's very easy to store (it lives next to my chopping boards!) and is not too heavy either.
Very happy with this grill - so happy this is now mine to use every day!

This Grill was able to make the tastiest steak sandwich completely- it even caramelised my onions! Having the ribbed grill on one side and the flat grill on the other was a smart innovation, as it kept my beautiful sandwich intact and the steak I cooked did not flatten too much.
I have to say, my favourite feature is the ease of cleaning the grill- not only did I cook it “all in one” but I simply wiped it down after. So I have less dishes, but more time for eating my snacks now

I really wanted to test out cooking meat on the Sunbeam Cafè Style 6-Slice Sandwich Press & Grill. I found the Mexican Steak And Capsicum Tortilla Wrap recipe on the Sunbeam website, and put it to the test.
Cooking the meat was simple and I loved how it left grill marks on the meat and vegetables. If you want gill marks on both sides just flip your meat over halfway through cooking. There is a pull out drip tray to catch all the excess fat from cooking meats or to wipe crumbs into.
Clean up was easy, with a quick wipe down with paper towel.
This recipe was super tasty and a huge hit with the family. I love that I was able to cook everything on the one appliance.

Today we cooked ham and cheese crossiants in the 2 - slice sandwich and grill press. The cooked amazingly. They were toasted so well and crunchy without being burnt. The cheese was melted and the ham was hot. This has been an amazing product. We could fit 3 crossiants in the 2 - slide. Definitely looking at investing into the 6 - slice

Is for you. WOW, the grill surface is huge. So much room to cook a number of items at the same time. I’m impressed that it is both a grill and a sandwich press in one.
My kids were pumped to see we finally had a sandwich press and were quick to put it to the test. My eldest daughter who’s 12 years old, toasted some wraps in it easily. She also toasted her bagel in it. One of the great features of this grill and press, is that you have a lever which locks the upper plate to any height position you like. There is no excuse for squashing your food anymore.
Heating up was super-fast, only taking a couple of minutes. Once heated the READY button will turn green to let you know your good to go.
The Sunbeam Café Style 6-Slice Sandwich Maker Grill & Press tucked away neatly in my cupboard standing up, so it doesn’t take up too much room. There is also bit on the back of the press, to wrap the cord around. This keeps the cord out of the way when being stored.
I had a fair idea that the Sunbeam Café Style 6-Slice Sandwich Maker Grill & Press
would be great for toasting sandwiches, but I really wanted to give the grill part a crack. I ended up cooking the Mexican Steak and Capsicum Tortilla Wraps, which was on the Sunbeam website.
Cooking the steaks on the grill was simple and easy. It felt like having a BBQ in my kitchen. I was able to cook the entire meal on the one appliance. I cooked the steak, capsicum and tortillas on the Sunbeam Café Style 6-Slice Sandwich Maker Grill & Press and was able to adjust the height for each of the different foods.
There is a pull-out tray at the front of the grill to use when cooking meats, so that it catches excess fats. Clean-up is simple as the plates are non-stick, so a quick wipe and I was done.
Overall, I really enjoyed using the Sunbeam Café Style 6-Slice Sandwich Maker Grill & Press and loved the fact that is more than just a sandwich press. My family will continue to enjoy using it in the years to come.

‘I Grabbed My Car Keys And RAN!’ The New Supermarket Bread Everyone’s Talking About
Mum-of-two Rebecca McCracken has spent the last four years reading ingredient lists on pretty much everything she buys at the supermarket.
Like many parents raising kids with food allergies, a quick trip to the supermarket often means checking labels, comparing products and hoping to find something the whole family can eat.
Bec’s four-year-old son and 17-month-old daughter were both born with cow’s milk protein allergy. While her son has since outgrown his allergies, her toddler still reacts to dairy, making even everyday staples like bread a challenge.
“Unless we buy expensive sourdough for seven or eight dollars, we don’t really have a choice.”
Even then, it’s not ideal.
“A kid doesn’t want to eat a sourdough sandwich,” Bec laughs. “And fairy bread on sourdough is not great.”
A New Loaf On The Block
Bec runs an online community for allergy families, so she spends plenty of time sharing recipes, product finds and supermarket discoveries with other parents.
It was one of those parents who first told her about new JUST bread.
“A follower messaged me and said, ‘Oh my gosh, this bread is coming soon.’ I was like, ‘Where? When? I need to know. I’m getting my car keys and running!'”
Made with baker’s flour, water, yeast, vinegar, oil and salt, JUST bread contains no artificial preservatives, flavours or colours.
For Bec, it sounded almost too good to be true. “When we saw JUST bread, I was like, ‘You’re joking.’ A bread that’s fresh baked but in the bread aisle? That’s unheard of for us.”
“It was really exciting for our family and for the allergy community.”
The Family’s Toughest Critic Approved
Of course, there was one person whose opinion mattered more than anyone else’s.
“My toughest critic is my daughter. She is so fussy. We know something is really good if she approves it, and she approves it. She loves it. She’ll eat it plain, toasted, as French toast … whatever. She loves it.”
Bec says she was impressed too.
“I like it. I like that it’s only got minimal ingredients and doesn’t have the additives and preservatives that are in a lot of other brands.”
A Simpler Option For Everyday Families
Bec tried out JUST bread because of her family’s allergies, but she says it has a broader appeal.
“I think everyone is becoming more conscious of additives and preservatives in their food.”
It’s a feeling many of us can probably relate to. We don’t all want to overhaul the way we eat, but plenty of us are paying a little more attention to ingredient lists and looking for products that keep things simple.
Bread is one of those foods that’s always around. It ends up in lunchboxes, on the breakfast table, alongside soup on a cold night and covered in hundreds and thousands at birthday parties. When we eat something that often, it’s only natural to wonder what’s in it.
JUST bread keeps things simple with a handful of pantry ingredients and no artificial preservatives, flavours or colours. It’s the sort of loaf that fits easily into busy family life without asking us to compromise on taste or convenience.
Little Changes, Big Difference
For Bec, finding a loaf of bread her whole family can enjoy is about more than ticking another item off the shopping list.
“It seems like such a little thing to the normal community, but for us this is a massive win.”
Being able to make sandwiches without worrying about ingredients. Packing lunchboxes a little more easily. Bringing back fairy bread for birthdays. Sometimes it’s the little things that make family life feel a whole lot simpler.
And while Bec found JUST bread because she needed another allergy-friendly option, its simple ingredient list is likely to appeal to plenty of other families too. After all, when we can choose everyday foods made with ingredients we recognise, that’s a pretty good place to start.

It’s at a good price point for families on a tight budget and is “cleaner” but missing the mark with Canola oil . I wouldn’t be running to a supermarket for it but it’s alot better than other varieties on the market. It’s nice to see supermarkets are at least trying and listening
Most breads are dairy free anyway so I am surprised by this article. Additive free is a bonus. I always go for a grain bread nowadays and have the kids eating it too so I’ll be sticking with that. It’s always great to have variety out there though for the ones that need it.
We bought this bread from the supermarket and it is a good price for bread which of course can indeed be expensive. Each slice is a good size and our favourite meal to create and eat with this bread is cheese toasties. The bread holds and is good to eat.

Grabbing your car keys and running for a bread ?? I can’t imagine doing so for a bread lol ! It’s nice to see that more and more allergy friendly products are being produced and put on the market.
I don’t agree with the statement that “A kid doesn’t want to eat a sourdough sandwich”. It depends on what type of bread you introduce to your kids. My kids grew up with 7 seeds, rustic bread and sourdough and they love it. It’s also quite easy and cheap to make sourdough bread yourself.
I haven’t seen this bread in the supermarket but will be looking for it now. I have been trying to avoid preservatives and additives for some time now and as highlighted in the article bread it difficult to find, or super expensive, without them so I don’t have it often.
This is fantastic, finally a bread that is not full of nasty stuff. I will be going straight out to buy this. My son has ARFID and will only eat white bread, but it’s not terribly healthy. With this bread, at least I know that it is much healthier than the alternatives. Woohoo
I cant wait to give this bread a go (so far its always been sold out at my local woolies so it must be good). So good its suitable for those with allergies too. I think nowadays were all looking for cleaner options of ingredients in our foods so this is a step in the right direction.

Oh I cannot wait to try this bread! We go through that much bread each week and I always feel so guilty with how much my kids have – not anymore! Would love to see them introduce other variants in the future – multigrain and gluten free would be superb!
This is such a great product that I’m looking forward to trying! I’ve only been buying bread from bakeries the last few years because grocery store bread texture was so dense and unpleasant. But the hassle with bakery bread is I can’t get it everywhere! I’ll be really keen to give this a go

I actually was able to make a full steak sandwich with this even being able to caremlise onions! If you were thinking it’s just a sandwich press, I assure you- it’s so much more than meets the eye!! It also cleans like a dream as well and we all know that’s high on the list of a busy mums!

This Grill was able to make the tastiest steak sandwich completely- it even caramelised my onions! Having the ribbed grill on one side and the flat grill on the other was a smart innovation, as it kept my beautiful sandwich intact and the steak I cooked did not flatten too much.

I really wanted to test out cooking meat on the Sunbeam Cafè Style 6-Slice Sandwich Press & Grill. I found the Mexican Steak And Capsicum Tortilla Wrap recipe on the Sunbeam website, and put it to the test.

Today we cooked ham and cheese crossiants in the 2 - slice sandwich and grill press. The cooked amazingly. They were toasted so well and crunchy without being burnt. The cheese was melted and the ham was hot. This has been an amazing product. We could fit 3 crossiants in the 2 - slide. Definitely looking at investing into the 6 - slice

We made some homemade pizza with it! The plate is so big! It fits a large round wrap as pizza base.

More than just a sandwich press!
The grill heats up fast and supplies enough heat to cook your food, not just sandwiches. I have used it for sandwiches, wraps, bacon and chicken skewers, and for crisping up pies and pastries if I am too lazy to chuck into the oven (would nuke in microwave first).
One outstanding feature is the ability to lock at any height - so bye bye squashed sandwiches! Also great when crisping up my pies, i can lower the top enough so it touches or is close enough to heat the top of the pie/pastry without squashing them. if I am making items like cheese toasties where it's ok to squash, then I the lock is not needed. However, for other items I can lower the lid to heat without squashing the food.
The grill is also very easy to clean - just wipe with paper towel. The non stick surface is excellent quality, and everything just comes off so easily. I do avoid sharp objects and stick to using plastic or silicon utensils to ensure grill surface lasts longer and to avoid scratches.
You can also lock the grill so it can stand up and be easily stored away upright. It's very easy to store (it lives next to my chopping boards!) and is not too heavy either.
Very happy with this grill - so happy this is now mine to use every day!

The Sunbeam Cafè Style 6- slice grill is my new BFF
It’s has been a game changer in our home, not only does it heat up super fast but it can cook 6, yep 6 toasties at once! But it does so much more than that, we have used it to make pancakes, cook bacon, I even used it to cook steak for hubby which we then turned into steak toasted sandwiches! It’s super easy to clean and can be stored standing up, I love that this machine has come into my life!

Omg the sandwiches came out really yum... this Sunbeam Cafe style 6 slice grill and press is perfect, so easy to use and so easy to clean. The lever locks at absolutely any angle you like. You can even store it upright.

I have to say, my favourite feature is the ease of cleaning the grill- not only did I cook it “all in one” but I simply wiped it down after. So I have less dishes, but more time for eating my snacks now

Mexican Steak And Capsicum Tortilla Wrap were YUM
Cooking the meat was simple and I loved how it left grill marks on the meat and vegetables. If you want gill marks on both sides just flip your meat over halfway through cooking. There is a pull out drip tray to catch all the excess fat from cooking meats or to wipe crumbs into.
Clean up was easy, with a quick wipe down with paper towel.
This recipe was super tasty and a huge hit with the family. I love that I was able to cook everything on the one appliance.
The Sunbeam Cafè Style 6-Slice Sandwich Press & Grill is a great appliance for your kitchen. Would highly recommend.

Amazing 2 in 1 Sandwich Press and Grill
If you have a larger family then the Sunbeam Café Style 6-Slice Sandwich Maker Grill & Press
Is for you. WOW, the grill surface is huge. So much room to cook a number of items at the same time. I’m impressed that it is both a grill and a sandwich press in one.
My kids were pumped to see we finally had a sandwich press and were quick to put it to the test. My eldest daughter who’s 12 years old, toasted some wraps in it easily. She also toasted her bagel in it. One of the great features of this grill and press, is that you have a lever which locks the upper plate to any height position you like. There is no excuse for squashing your food anymore.
Heating up was super-fast, only taking a couple of minutes. Once heated the READY button will turn green to let you know your good to go.
The Sunbeam Café Style 6-Slice Sandwich Maker Grill & Press tucked away neatly in my cupboard standing up, so it doesn’t take up too much room. There is also bit on the back of the press, to wrap the cord around. This keeps the cord out of the way when being stored.
I had a fair idea that the Sunbeam Café Style 6-Slice Sandwich Maker Grill & Press
would be great for toasting sandwiches, but I really wanted to give the grill part a crack. I ended up cooking the Mexican Steak and Capsicum Tortilla Wraps, which was on the Sunbeam website.
Cooking the steaks on the grill was simple and easy. It felt like having a BBQ in my kitchen. I was able to cook the entire meal on the one appliance. I cooked the steak, capsicum and tortillas on the Sunbeam Café Style 6-Slice Sandwich Maker Grill & Press and was able to adjust the height for each of the different foods.
There is a pull-out tray at the front of the grill to use when cooking meats, so that it catches excess fats. Clean-up is simple as the plates are non-stick, so a quick wipe and I was done.
Overall, I really enjoyed using the Sunbeam Café Style 6-Slice Sandwich Maker Grill & Press and loved the fact that is more than just a sandwich press. My family will continue to enjoy using it in the years to come.
