Vileda Rinse Clean Spin Mop & Bucket System is the best design! Prior to this, I had the stamdard mop that basically used the same bucket of water so I had to mop from cleanest parts of the house to dirtiest so that I wasnt spreading unnecessary germs, like from toilet to kitchen. This new design was just what i needed. Now i can just mop the house from front to back. My kids have a very low immune so we have to clean the house more regularly than other households. Possibly the best mop l’ve ever used, my floors are actually clean after using and having the two separate water sections one for clean water and one for the dirty water makes a big difference. I love how I’m always mopping with continuous clean water. Also the spin gets the right amount of water out of the mop which is great. The mop handle is adjustable and very light weight. The mop can also clip onto the bucket handle making it easy to carry throughout the house. Such a great design.

We currently had the vileda spray and wipe mop and also our robo mop. Personally this mop is a better clean than both of those. I find it truly removes all the residue and leaves our floors sparkling. The separation of dirty and clean water is awesome and the main reason I stopped using bucket mops was due to the rinsing in dirty water situation! I am short but my husband is tall and we both mop, so the extendable length is fantastic for us!!!

If you didn’t already guess by the title this mop is GREAT!! I’ve been using it daily since it arrived. I have a large family and there is always something to clean up so this has made it so easy for quick messes or sometimes for big messes. As in picture below my child dropped bbq sauce on the floor and it was a 2 second clean up with the mop system with no sticky residue left over. I really like the fact that it uses clean water each time so you are not dipping the mop into dirty water like most other ones on the market. This is a much more hygienic way of mopping. I highly recommend this as a must have in your home.

I’ve been trialling the Vileda Rinse Clean system for over a week and it’s a game changer, no longer do I have to carry a clean water bucket, run to the bathroom to clean the mop, worry about the mop being too wet or too dry. This compact system does it all. On one side is clean water to dip the mop in, then a simple peddle system to wring it if it’s too wet. After cleaning just dip in clean water and wring clean it again, not to mention the extendable stick. All of this without bending an inch. I’m very impressed and will never be using my old mop again.

My husband is quite the sceptic when it comes to new products, especially ones I rave about, however once seeing the Spin Mop in action he remarked “oh wow, that’s impressive”!
I have been testing the mop bucket system every few days on my tiled floor which gets quite dirty from our family of six, particularly in the heavy traffic areas. I did have to get used to holding the mop upright to mop as on an angle the plastic around the microfibre mop head tended to scrape the plastic on the floor, but once I worked out the optimum way to hold the mop it wasn’t an issue. I found the mop and spin action perfect to hygienically mop (due to the two tank bucket system which separates the clean water from the dirty water)-amazing and a game changer!
The microfibre mop head was super absorbent and I even used it on my skirting boards to remove my the fine cat hairs that accumulate.
The foot activated wringer where you can control the level of wringing out, is such an innovative feature and quite the novelty! It think this feature would be particularly handy for those with motor skill issues and young children as it’s just a matter of placing your foot on the pedal and pushing up and down, so easy, yet highly effective.
The price point may be a little higher than most mops, shower the innovative cleaning features make it so worth it. I highly recommend this product.

Thanks to Mouths of Mums for giving me the opportunity to trial this new Vileda rinse clean and spin mop and bucket.
Valued at $79, I would expect that this is a pretty nifty mop. What drew me to selecting this mop was the unique feature (although maybe there are other systems out there that I’m unaware of) of a separate clean water reservoir and the dirty water gets stored somewhere else!
At this stage it is only available to purchase at bunnings warehouse.
Not too bulky, the bucket isn’t heavy either. My only improvement would be maybe adding some wheels on the bottom for easier manoeuvring.
The mop handle has a double extension feature so even my 4 year old daughter could make the mop her height and help out with the mopping! Honestly, she was very keen to help out…but there are warnings that children shouldn’t be allowed near the bucket spin mechanism.
It had a traditional mop head which I had never used in the past. All my other mops are the rectangular squeeze mops.
Easy to follow instructions are on the box not on a separate piece of paper. You fill the main reservoir with water and it has an automatic refill feature to fill the bucket with clean water. The spin/wring feature is pedal operated and depending on how hard or frequently you push the pedal, it can gather up quite a lot of speed.
Took a while to get used to how much to spin the mop head without it still being too dripping wet when mopping. I figured out that the spin on its own wasn’t enough and I needed to push the mop head into the wringer a bit more to manually squeeze out the excess water.
Mopping with this style of mop was a new experience for me. It did clean stains off the tiles fairly easy but only moved hairs and dust around the floor. So I will be sweeping a bit more before I mop. Physical matter like little leaves or twigs and fluff did get stuck in the fine fibres of the mop head. So I had to pull a lot of these out of the fibres by hand. Fortunately you can also put the mop head in the washing machine to give it a good clean when required.
The clean water seemed to be used up rather quickly as you lose a lot of water during the wringing process. So while it’s good that you will constantly be mopping with clean water, you may need to fill up your bucket more than once for each mopping session.

What a great intuitive and easy to use system! Who wants to re-mop the house with dirty water?? This cleaned my floors so well by separating the dirty water from the clean. I am so greatful there is finally a mop and bucket system that has 2 separate buckets, one for clean and one for dirty. I always think so often I’m mopping my floors with dirty water again and I have to resist the urge to refill the bucket everytime. The mop cleans super well as well on my flooring and the mop head is easy to clean afterwards as well. All around its a great product and its worth every cent.

I usually use a flat mop so I was very impressed with this style spin mop and how thoroughly it cleaned our floors. The handle was adjustable but at the same time very sturdy. I was excited to try the new Valeader mop as I have also have a the original. First impressions are it looks great and very similar to the original aside from the new bucket design. Upon reading the instructions it seem to be more of a hassle than my regular spin mop. I don’t like that you have to keep refilling the mop bucket, as you can barely mop half of your home without running out of clean water. The mop itself feels more flimsy than the original, and it doesn’t have the spinning handle either. I don’t recommend this mob I definitely prefer the original vileda spin mop!

Getting ready for the return to school has started to kick in so this was a timely read. We have the yum box and i love it, it is so easy for my daughter to open and close on her own. I find the lunch cooler bags also a great idea however some days depending on what else needs to go to school, they can be quite bulky to include in the school bag. Lunch boxes have come such a long way since my eldest was a kid, he’s now 26! There are so many great lunch box option out there indeed ! I’ve always liked the Bento style lunch boxes for my kids. It reduces the use of plastic lunch bags and packaged food which aren’t very good for the environment and it encourages to present a good variety of foods (which is not only better nutrition wise but lao to prevent our kids from getting bored with same foods all the time.
There are some really fabulous options here. So many variations of colour, shape and size. I love the bento style lunch boxes, so handy to keep food separate and eliminate the use of plastic packaging. The machine washable bags are a great idea too. They can get grubby so fast, this would be so much easier to maintain
This has gotten much easier since my kids hit high school – they have strong opinions about their lunch boxes, so I don’t have to think about it so much anymore! Great article! Our kids are so lucky, when it comes to lunchboxes, they really are spoilt for choice. There are so many to pick from. Regarding sandwiches, my eldest son, used to hate sandwiches for school lunches. It wasn’t until many years later that I discovered that he’d throw out his sandwiches in the playground bins. My son’s an adult now and he still hates sandwiches. He only likes “hot” lunches. So glad he lives on his own now and can make his own “hot” lunches just the way he likes them.

Wow, lunch boxes have really come such a long way from when I was taking a lunch box to school. Feel old, like “back in my day”, but we were lucky to have options like are available now. While I like some of these designs, I feel like they aren’t super practical.
These lunchboxes are beautiful but are they really worth the expensive price tag? I have been through so many lunch boxes and bags over the years and found the best it to use an insulated lunchbox bag with ice brick and use small containers to keep individual items fresh and assessable.
I love the bbox lunch boxes. They are so reliable and tough when kids throw their bags around. Easy to wash and store. I have used the we can be tiny snackies at home too. The boys love choosing a certain animal shape. They wash well, are durable and great quality.
My kids are old enough now to pack their own lunches and I am so happy to see the great choices they are making. They take left over meals, cook food in the morning to take and now I am confident they aren’t throwing away sandwiches! I do have the chilly bags for them, I find they fit better into bags
My daughter uses a bento box now for work and sometimes an insulated bag in summer, but when she was at school it was a rectangular lunch box with no compartments. It was very easy to wash each day, just the box and lid, and it could still be filled with rolls/sandwiches and snacks.
Lunchboxes are so important these days. Back in my day it was a brown paper bag or the exact same lunch box that everyone else had and there were three compartments. Today its such a fashion statement and as much as the lunchbox itself is judged so are the contents.
I absolutely love the bb box quite sturdy. It took many lunch box to find one that would last. Before this lunch box we had a stuck on you. I found the stuck on you lunch box didn’t last when the hinge’s snapped they wouldn’t get back to me (only had for a short time and my youngest couldn’t open it so it wasn’t dropped. Just opened it after the 8th time and snapped). The bb box has lasted the last year and a half and still going strong
