    This salad kit, is full of so much colour, and where there is variety there is nutrients! The dressing has the perfect mexican zing, and the corn chips give this salad just that bit of extra crunch to top it off. This pairs up perfectly with the Kentucky Style Thigh Fillets too, for a very quick dinner for two!

    I absolutely loved every bit of the Mexican Salad. WE teamed it up with the WOOD SMOKED BEEF BRISKET for a super quick and Delicious dinner.I h ave to say we have now had this combination twice since the initial trial and still loving it

  • Quick and easy meal addition!

    Salads are such an awesome and easy way to add in some extra veggies into a meal, so I was totally for the Woolies Mexican Salad Kit! Preparation took zero effort and the Chipotle dressing was a fab accompaniment! I tried the salad in some burritos and also on some tacos; delish both times!

    The Mexican salad kit is amazing, so fresh and the chipotle dressing gives it a great taste in flavour, i would definitely recommend this to anyone, great for family's around the dinner table as my daughter loved it with tacos, or grab a bag and head to a friends house for a bbq. will definitely be getting it again.

    Honestly I’ve never purchased these until last week when I did my grocery shopping with my two children. We choose this as a weekend lunch option and took it to the park for a picnic lunch! I was absolutely amazed at how yummy this salad was! It was fresh and I would purchase this again in a heart beat! I love trying new products from the grocery store that I wouldn’t normally purchase. If you haven’t tried it add it to your trolley next time

  • Tasty salad, yummy!

    I'd decided to try all the different salads at woolies that sounded nice. I liked this Mexican one.. Just crumble the tortilla chips on top so they don't go soft. I always like more sauce in all of my salads so could have done with a little more. Great range of salads Woolies! A great accompaniment to chicken and corn on the cob.

  • Great quick meals

    I absolutely love these summer salad packs, mexican being one of my top go to. They are so easy to grab on the go as a quick meal (I'll grab a yogurt too for my protein). I usually go for the ones on special or Mark down as otherwise they are quiet expensive. Love that the dressing can be added to reduce calories as I find they are very generous with the serves of the dressing. A great side to grab to bring to a bbq too.

    If you are looking for an alternative to the every day salad then this is the one for you. It is full of healthy goodness and is so easy to prepare. Open the bag and voila. Sauce is optional. This would go well with some spiced coasted meat, like some of herb and garlic chicken schnitzel of some red meat too.

    Not quite nachos, not quite a salad - this is a creative twist that makes a refreshing and fun side for any casual occasion. I love the crunch of the chips, the freshness of the salad and corn and the smokey and slightly spicy sauce. The whole family quite liked it and I will definitely buy it again.

  • Mexican Salad Kit makes Taco night a breeze.

    When I first picked up the Mexican Salad Kit I was really unsure about what I would do with it, or even if it was something that I wanted.

    After a quick read on the back of the packet we decided to give it Taco's a try.

    To our surprise the salad was delicious and made preparing dinner a breeze. All we had to do was cook up some mince and heat the taco's.

    The salad was crispy and the smokey and spicy chipotle dressing was the perfect accompaniment drizzled over the top.

    It may just become a staple to our Taco ingredients in the future.

  • Good flavour with just the right amount of crunch

    I enjoyed the flavour of the chipotle salad dressing as it wasn\'t overpowering and was not too spicy. I think there was a nice amount of crunch provided by the tortilla chips and the corn goes well with the salad dressing. The only thing I think would improve the flavour would be to decrease the amount of onion in the salad. I found that it overpowered the other flavours. I ended up eating the whole salad myself, in one sitting.

    This Mexican salad is a fun bright crunchy salad was a huge hit. So easy and quick to prepare the sauce is amazing too gives that extra kick that takes it from good to great. We ate it with cray fish while the kids had taco Tuesday and loved it the corn kermals were a great surprise too. Can't wait til taco Tuesday definitely recommend this to spice up your next Mexican night grab your sumbero and go for it

  • The jury is out!

    I was really looking forward to trying this salad but the first couple of times I went to the shop there was none available! I was finally able to get some yesterday and decided to have it as part of my birthday dinner tonight.

    The first problem we encountered is that considering the size of the bag there isn't really much in it. There is 7 of us but at $5.50 a bag it's not something that we would buy 2 of to feed us all.

    None of the kids were very impressed, we eat chilli regularly but they felt that there was too much. The main problem I had was the tiny bits of tortillas that I got. I actually thought I'd bitten into egg shell or a stone ???? Turns out it was some crumbs of tortilla!

    I think if I was to have this salad again it would only be if I bought all the individual ingredients and made it up myself (which of course defeats the purpose of using a pretty much ready to use salad).

  • Surprisingly good. I will buy it again

    I thought I'm not into a mexican flavours in my salad, but here you are - I actually liked it. It was surprisingly good. And the plus is, my hubby who loves his meat and heat in his meals said that that's the go for his daily veggie intake lol :)

    Easy to prepare after a busy day at work great side to add to a meal.kids loved it so passed that test although they would have liked a few more corn chips. I would definitely buy this in the future and would reccomend it to any one wanting to try. Give it a go.

  • This would be an amazing prize to win and so helpful to families. With the cost of living going up, winning this prize would be a dream come true. I have a great IGA near me which I go to regularly and the service and quality is outstanding and so friendly.
