  • Tasty salad with yummy sauce

    I’m loving the different ranges of salad kits at Woolies. Trying to taste them all, this one was one of my favourites so far. The toasted coconut gives it a nice texture and the sauce gives it a nice little kick without it being too spicy. I could always do with more sauce though. I like that everything is put together for you so it’s just a matter of throwing it all together. Looking forward to serving more from the new salad range this summer and taking the credit for the fusion of tastes. Thanks Woolies!

  • Bottle the Sauce, packet the coconut

    I love this product, at $5.50 it’s expensive to eat regularly and definitely not enough of this delicious sauce in the little packet. Bottle the sauce at 600ml or more and attach packet of coconut to each bottle. I would eat Everyday !!

  • Quick and easy salad

    Really enjoyed the Tropical Salad. The leaves were fresh and the combination great with the included cucumber. The coconut gave it a sweeter taste while the Mango & chili dressing gave it a sharper taste to balance it all out. My husband even enjoyed it although he is not a fan of spicy foods. Went well with the Kentucky style chicken thigh fillets.

  • Woolworth Tropical Salad Kit - Definite winner in my house!

    This salad kit is amazing, my family and I loved it! So fresh and tasty, the toasted coconut chips were like the cream on top, they added great texture and a delicious flavour! A perfect accompaniment to any meal. I will definitely purchase this again!

  • Tasty simple summer salad

    A very light easy summer salad. I added some bbq chicken to it for lunch.

    The toasted coconut was a highlight adding a nice crunch, although would of liked more of it.

    The chilli isn't overpowering at all but nicely balanced with the zesty mango dressing.

    Overall a very nice favour combination and easy for lunch or as a side!

  • So good even my kids ate it!

    This salad was enjoyed by the whole family. I’m not a mango eater, but the dressing was delicious and I loved the zing of the chilli! My 12 year old is not a big salad eater but both she and my 10 year old loved it with the addition of the toasted coconut. Absolutely delicious, would definitely eat it again!

  • Fresh, easy and tasty

    i bought the Tropical Salad on a hot day and was late home from work. Just cooked up some chicken pieces, took left off potato salad out of fridge and spent a couple of minutes putting the salad together in a bowl.....bingo we had a meal that was quick, filling and most important of all...healthy. Loved the dressing, not too strong a chilli taste (which suited my husband) but very tasty. Nice and refreshing too. Will definitely buy again.

  • Easy quick lunch at work

    I love taking this salad mix to work as an easy lunch option. Always enjoy the mixed colours and flavours and crunchiness. I also use this as a base salad sometimes at home to have with a pasta dish. The toasted coconut enhances the flavour and the dressing with a hint of chili just adds another dimension (although more dressing would be great)

    We love to eat lots of healthy and yummy salads; particularly during the warm and hot Summer time months of the year. This tropical salad is delicious eaten solo or as a side with a BBQ chicken or beef dishes such as steak. A salad that fills the tummy and gives a healthy boost to the system.

    I love welcoming summer back with light meals such as salads. This salad is so easy to prepare. Everything you need in the packet. Just open and serve. Sauce optional. I sometimes like to jazz it up and add things like pineapple, or even ham, or just use it on the side as a salad. Love the sauce here and the coconut addition.

  • It’s delicious!

    This is so easy to grab to add with really anything, tastes delicious. I ate a whole bag of it by myself one day because I was addicted to the taste and loved the coconut bits through it. The only thing was not enough cucumber bits but i just added more to it myself. Good stuff!

  • A Salad I Go Tropo Over !

    I’m always stuck on inspiration and I’m always short on time, caring for 3 children under 5 years of age. To be able to grab a salad kit which is already prepared for you (cut and washed) is super convenient and a tasty treat the whole family will enjoy. The toasted coconut is a lovely, summery texture and the zesty mango chilli dressing isn’t overly spicy but has a nice ‘kick to it’.

  • If you want a TROPICAL salad, get this salad kit... you won't go wrong :)

    I was genuinely surprised and impressed the moment I tasted the first spoonful of Woolworths Tropical salad. It nails the tropical taste and feel! As someone who grew up in an Asian country, this salad immediately reminds me of rujak (rojak), the tasty fruit and veggie salads popular in south east Asian countries.

    The veggies are fresh and crunchy, the sweet creamy taste of the coconut balances the fresh tangy mango and subtle spiciness of the dressing. To top it off, it is sooo easy to prepare... Just toss all the ingredients in a bowl and you will be ready to impress your family and friends at your next BBQs or gathering.

    Salad mix was good was nice and crunchy refeshing with the mango thechilli gives it a bit of punch. If you like mango and chilli I would purchase this salad. If you dont like mangos or chilli I would recommend trying a different salad mix.

    I tried this salad, and it was the only one left on the shelf so I think that says it all. It’s great tasting and so easy to prepare quick to add to any meal, could have done with some more cucumber in the bag though but I just added more to my liking anyway. The taste was really nice not tangy, my hubby even enjoyed eating it.

    The tropical salad kit was a hit whilst we were camping . Easy to prepare and had a great flavour. I added a sliced mango to it and some chicken breast just to make it go further.

  • Delicious and simple!

    I loved the Woolworths Teopical Salad Kit!

    All prepped and done, no ingredients to buy or time spent making. Bought it on the way home and as easy as that dinner ready with enough left over for lunch!

    The salad itself was a nice mix of baby spinach, lettuce, rocket, grated carrot and fresh cucumber slices. The toasted coconut gave it a love occasional crunch and the mango chili dressing is delicious! Adds a sweetness but not too sweet. If you are like me and sometimes worry about things with chilli being too hot there's no need to worry with this one. It was mild enough for myself and the kids and just gave it a nice flavour.

    Great value for money too as it's a huge serve! Filled 2x 6cup casserole containers!

    Highly recommended all round :)

  • Great flavour and texture

    The tropical salad kit was a hit in this household, the added crunch from the coconut was really nice and just a little bit different. The only thing I didn't like was at the Woolies I purchased mine from, all the packs had leaves that were a little wilted or past their prime, but I picked those out and the rest were fine

    The dressing was refreshing and tangy, and thre salad as a whole would be a lovely side dish to meat or fish

  • Tried it before and it’s definitely one of the better companies to do surveys with. They make it so easy, the website is easy to navigate and the surveys are generally not too long. It’s easy to do whilst on the couch or filling in time! Definitely worth checking out to earn some extra cash.

  • Purkle is fun! Not a lot to earn from but if you like filling up surveys or voicing ypir opinions, it is definitely worth a try. Sometimes there are survey on music which are the most fun ones and also, these are the ones that reward the most. Not bad to earn a gift card or 2 in a year!

  • I love Purkle. While the surveys don’t award massive sums, the surveys themselves are never long. Other platforms want a minimum of 10 minutes which can be hard to commit to during day time chaos. It doesn’t take long to accumulate a decent sum, and I use gift cards as a way to treat myself. They can be redeemed for grocery gift cards. I’ve cashed out over $200 in a year and a half. Give it a go!

  • I’ve been with Purkle for a few years now. One of my favourite survey and money earning platforms. Easy to build up a balance and redeem your earnings. Love sitting down and completing my purkle surveys, to see balance grow. I use this to treat myself or put towards presents for Christmas

  • I’m not having any luck with purkle. I tried to sign up for it and it just wasn’t working so I emailed them and didn’t hear back, I just tried again now and managed to create an account but then the activation email contained no link to click and actually activate my account. From the comments here it looks like I’m not missing anything anyway

  • I’ve earnt a bit through Purkle and other survey sites. They are great passive income. I don’t mind that Purkle pays in gift cards as it provides a great opportunity for me to buy something for myself as opposed to putting cash away for expenses. But cash is always good!

  • Surveys have been great to keep me awake while feeding my newborn at night but I agree with some of the comments that the time commitment is too high for the benefit. I do not believe i will continue using it once baby starts to sleep through and get through feeds quicker.

  • I tried Purkle for approx 1 year and quite frankly it’s really not worth your time
    Very few surveys and very low amounts paid
    Worst thing is it only pays in gift cards so no cash
    I gave up and just stuck with my original survey site that I’ve been using for years
    It makes me $120 average in PayPal a week without too much effort and supplies the family with an annual holiday without touching the household budget

  • It’s a shame I’m already a member and can’t enter the competition. Surveys in general – including Purkle – can be a good way to earn some money, but just remember you won’t earn much from any one survey. It does add up over time though, and isn’t particularly difficult to do.

  • This is a nice way to earn a bit extra money but you won’t earn a lot. Some surveys time out too which is annoying or hey just stop working half way through. If you have spare time and want to do it then why not. I sometimes do these on the train on my way to work and it slowly builds up to allow you to get a reward. It all helps.

  • I joined Purkle ages ago but to be honest I have never used it and totally forgot that I joined let alone that I could be earning money and points while being at home. Any opportunity to make some money and try to help financially, off I go to rejoin I think!

  • Purkle is a great surveys site. I’ve redeemed vouchers from there. You’re not going to make a fortune from it but you do definitely earn for your time. I haven’t done any for a while as I just haven’t had rhe time but I’ll definitely get back into it. The vouchers always come in handy.

  • The inner sceptic in me will prevent me signing up! I’m not against a survey, however I would rather do one here and there when I can with the incentive of winning something big! Even a $100 voucher. At the rate I win, it works out better than signing up for this.

  • I’ve neer been on Purkle yet. Although I have nothing against having your say and sharing your thoughts, advice and opinions there is one thing that I hate and that is surveys ! Quite often the available answers to chose from do not resemble my thought and you end up chosing the answer that comes closest to your ideas, but is not really it.

  • Some of these surveys can’t be done on your phone and they can be quite repetitive. I earn $20 every few months and these days, every little bit helps with the cost of living

  • I do the occasional survey for some extra money or when I want to treat myself to something a little special. I actually saved my survey fly buys dollars and treated myself to a Kitchen Aid mixer. It was worth all the time doing the surveys as it allows me to make lunch snacks so much quicker

  • I love doing surveys but I do find they time out a lot after you have spent time doing them. It is a great little way to make some extra cash on the side. You need to have the time to do these regularly and working full time I don’t these days but still love to earn a few dollars when I can.
