  • Woolworths Wood Smoked Beef Brisket

    This piece of Wood Smoked Beef Brisket was melt in your mouth beautiful. The tenderness and the flavour was so delicious. The 10 hours of slow cooking turned a ordinary piece of meat into something I would buy again. I served it with roast vegetables with the Bourbon BBQ Sauce drizzled over the meat. There was enough meat left over for my husbands lunch. He heated the shredded meat and sauce and put it on a roll, and asked when I was going to buy it again? I certainly would recommend it to family and friends and buy it again myself.

  • High Quality. Mouthwatering, had the WOW factor with the kids!

    Beautiful Piece of meat. Teamed it with some creamy mash and veggies. The kids demolished their plates with no talking at all, the food was their only focus! My oldest asked for more and also had some in his wrap the next day for school lunch. My youngest finished his plate and usually he is a picky eater. The bourbon sauce was strong but delicious. The boys have asked for me to buy this again and I agree with them!

    Will definitely be buying the Woolworths wood smoked brisket again! Had never tried it before and as a family of 7 we all enjoyed it. We enjoyed it with some lovely roasted vegetables. Can't wait to see the look on my families faces when I cook it again on the weekend. My mouth is watering just at the thought of having it again.

  • Mouth Watering + very tender = PERFECT!! Yummy !!

    Absolutely devoured this meal, it came out of the oven tender, with fantastic flavour, enough for 4 people, AMAZING we loved this Beef Brisket, was our first time trying this delicious meat. Will buy again! It was incredible makes a great meal alone on a bun with fresh salad, all brought at my local Woolworths- thank you for this opportunity to try and review we love to provide our honest feedback ( Mouth of Mums) loving it !!

    This has just got to be one of the best beef product you can buy. Absolutely delicious; tender and tasty. So easy to prepare too. I have bought this product multiple times now and often prepare it for family get togethers. Everybody has commented on how delicious and tender the beef is.

  • Absolutely delicious

    The smoked beef brisket was so delicious. The meat just melted in your mouth. You could tell it had been slow cooked for 10hrs and the best part it only took me 45 minutes!! My family pounced on their plates so quickly I didn't even have a chance to take a photo ????.

  • We loved the Woolworths Wood Smoked Brisket!!!

    From the moment I opened the packet, the smell was amazing and it only got better. Super simple and easy to prepare. As a working, time poor Mum of three children, I found this a bonus. I have one child who has sensory issues with food, especially meat. This is the first time he has eaten meat without complaint, even to the point of asking for seconds. I can't tell you how much of a win it is having all three children happily eating the one dish. The meat was so soft and succulent and I also thought the bourbon sauce was a wonderful addition. This is a product I am most definitely looking forward to buying again!

  • Wow, so quick, easy and delicious :-)

    I couldn't believe how easy it was, just take it out of the bag, place it in a tray and put it in the oven. opened up a bag of the Mexican salad and Ta da dinner done.

    The beef had such a beautiful smokey aroma which just melted in you mouth.The beef just pulled apart with ease and was so easy to eat.

    This was definitely a hubby pleaser and will definitely be on the shopping list again.

  • Wood Smoked Beef Brisket - fine dining for the whole family

    The Woolies Wood Smoked Beef Brisket was such an easy heat and eat meal packed full of flavour! Even the kids loved the Bourbon flavoured BBQ sauce. The brisket was so tender that my 2 and 3 year olds made easy working of chewing it up and asking for more. Teamed with a salad (and some chips) we had an easy, tasty meal with minimal effort.

  • A tasty addition to our dinner roster

    My husband loves American barbequed meats and had been looking for a decent, easy to prepare at home beef brisket. The smoky flavour and tenderness were a nice surprise though we are generally satisfied with Woolworths branded products. We've bought it twice in the last 3 weeks to satisfy our winter cravings. This brisket goes down well in a brioche burger with coleslaw or on a plate with potato salad.

    This beef is so tender and so tasty. I wish I knew how they get it to be so good. It's fantastic with one of Woolworths packet salads for a super quick, healthy, tasty family meal. We had it all served in a wrap. Was so delicious! Leftovers went into wraps for lunch boxes the next day. We really got our money's worth

    Loved the wood smoked brisket from woolies, thanks to mouths of mums.

    I have to say it was a family winner dinner. I have a super fussy eater 6 year old who actually asked for seconds of the brisket. So juicy and full of flavour, what more could you ask for.

    Definitely will be buying it again.

  • Brisket Pie!

    We’ve had brisket with salad, brisket on bread, brisket on its own... and now we have tried brisket pie! Best pie ever! Cooked the beef brisket in the oven, and used the smoky bourbon barbecue sauce with some stock and thickened it up to make a sauce, and placed it into puff pastry to make parcels! Amazing! Served with some mash potato and peas on to and drizzled with some more sauce! Beef brisket truly is a beef that can be used in so many different ways and different recipes to create a multitude of meals that satisfy even the fussiest of eaters!

  • So tasty and easy to prepare

    I ordered this online when I was trying to buy the Mexican Salad mix to review as the salad was not available online. Glad I did, had it for dinner tonight with mixed roasted herbed Veggies. So tender and tasty, hubbie went back for seconds. Not cheap at $21 per kilo, but when you look at the price of beef overall, not that bad. The only thing that marred the dish was the chunks of fat, some fat is necessary for flavour, but it could have been trimmed just a tad more as the bits of fat were big enough to be unpleasant. I do prefer to cook from scratch, but working two jobs plus looking after the poultry and livestock, sometimes I am rather time poor so if I can find something delicious that can be built into a great meal without lots of prep time, always willing to give it a try, and I'm glad I did try this one. Will definitely be buying this again, a winner with the whole family.

    We love Woolworths Wood Smoked Beef Brisket and buy often. It's easy to prepare, easy to shred, and very tasty. We always enjoy to make lebanese wrap. Shredded beef brisket, shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, sliced cucumber, cheese, and sauce with lebanese bread. It's so delicious and highly recommend!!

    Easy quick and a mouth melting moment. Busy mums this is your knight in Smokey sauce.

    It was so simple and such a crowd pleaser. Packed with flavour and so juicy it would have been impossible for even the most novice cooks to turn this smokn baby boy dry.

    Put the cook books away and stop pulling out your hair this one was a pleaser at the dinner table for everyone.

  • Woolworths smoked beef brisket

    I don't usually buy these prepared meals. I'm glad I bought this one. It was easy to prepare, cook and serve. It basically fell apart and melted in your mouth. It was great tasting and went down well with the kids. The plates were almost licked clean. Best of all we had leftover meat, which didn't disappoint on a Woolworths white breadroll for lunch the following day. I will certainly be buying this again. Thankyou Woolworths.

  • So tender

    I was a bit hesitant to try something pre packaged and probably never would unless given the opportunity from MoM. Do yourself a favour and try the Wood Smoked Brisket. The flavour is amazing, the meat is so tender it falls apart and not fatty. Plus when cooking it the meat didn't shrink down at all so plenty of leftovers for lunches the next day. I have already brought it again as it was such a hit in our house.

    I was delighted with the Woolworths Smoked Beef Brisket, it was so beautifully tender and tasty, the sauce was extremely delish, not too strong for me and my family, it was just right.   • A Very Enjoyable Family Meal

    The Beef Briskett was enjoyed by our entire family of 6 both young and old. It was so easy to prepare, the meat was juicy and tender, tasted delicious and everyone kept asking for more. We ate it with a fresh salad with mayonnaise. The sauce was lovely too though some of the family preferred not to have it as the meat was delicious on its own. The only negative is the price and size of the briskett. If it was a bit less dearer and a bigger portion it would be perfect.

    My family and I really enjoyed the brisket. It was enjoyed by all four members of the family. It was so tender and melt in the mouth and filled the kitchen with delicious smells that my mouth was watering whilst waiting for it to heat through. I will definitely be buying the brisket again as even my fussy husband enjoyed the meal.
