One Mouths of Mums member has found this elusive unicorn, and she was lucky enough to give it a workout with her family. Liz put the MG HS Essence X to the ultimate test – a week running around with a real family.

Luxuriously Spacious

The value-packed MG HS Essence X has been created with growing families in mind. Both the cabin and boot have ample space for little (and longer) legs, as well as school bags, shopping and prams.

“The MG suited us well for all our running around,” Liz explained. “Our local garden shop had a big sale on so I stocked the boot full of plants – it was surprising how many I was able to fit, the boot is deceptively large.

“My husband and I are both tall and we had plenty of room. The large sun roof allows so much sunlight in which also helps the cabin feel spacious. I was able to fit our pram and a week’s worth of groceries in the boot no issues.”

“I absolutely loved it. We do a lot of short trips all day long and it was nice to be in such comfort while doing so. The Apple car play was also great, it was nice being able to ask Siri to do things for me. It was also really easy to get the kids in and out of their car seats.
