Hello!

I grew up in a large family and always said that I would never do that to myself. Very early on, my husband and I eecided on the magic number of 2 children. ‘One for each hand or one each’ we would say. Plus we love to travel and most packages come as a family of four.

I have had bub number one and we are trying for number two. But for some reason, a voice in the far back reserves of my brain is now thinking about a third child. I don’t know where it came from, but it’s niggling. Has this ever happened to you? How many children do you have and what are the pros and cons?

  • My magic number was two , one boy and one girl and very blessed I had them . It is easier to have children close together than many years apart as lifestyle/finances do change and how you cope may change as well. Hope you make a good decision anyway .

  • I also grew up in a family of five and like you always said I wouldn’t want to have a large family. I have one child and chances are due to circumstances I won’t have anymore. I used to lament over the fact that I won’t have anymore, but my goodness these days I’m just so grateful I have one as some people can’t have any.
