Story After the Olympics

The Olympics have ended and I hope the stadiums and facilities will now be used by the locals. Incredible infrastructure has been built and I hope the locals get to benefit from them. Other cities that have hosted the Olympics have let some of these venues go to ruin. Let’s hope this is not the way forward.

  • I can’t see them being used. Especially in Brazil. There’s too much poverty, people are busy surviving, not worrying about sport and events and going out. Sad but true. These countries spend way too much money on these facilities, 2 weeks and they’re sitting empty. So sad

    • I would hope that schools would benefit from some of these facilities. Positives also need to come from the Olympics once they have finished.
