I hope this family is getting all of the love and support they need from everyone around them including support services.

Thank you for sharing this difficult story. Awareness for others may be the first step in helping another child not go through this. My thoughts are with you and the family as you go through this tough time in your lives.

  yes i agree! you are getting awareness out there! anorexia can be hard to diagnose especially if the person refuses to acknowledge that it is happening. they try to make excuses to everyone.

How terribly sad, what a horrible thing to go through.

oh my gosh! that is sad! i wish that they could give her the nutrients that she needs. she is only 18. my gosh poor thing. it is sad that this will take her.

Anorexia is such a terrible disease, this is awful for everybody and such a tragedy. Definitely unimaginable for the parents.
