It’s been a long battle.
Next month i will welcome our new daughter into the household. The difference this time is she is 11 years old. She is my husbands neice and after years of fighting we will finlly get custody of her next week. She has lived with us on and off over the years more on than off. Being forced to return to her natural mother whenever
the mother decided once again she was off drugs. She is a beautiful child so thinking of the times when she was without care, food, being left alone for days on end makes me so angry. Those times are coming to an end. We love this child and in a very short time we will be ble to call her our daughter.
