Bedroom clutter clear out!

My nine year old has made over her bedroom! I am so impressed! It started after we visited a few furniture shops over the holidays and she feel in love with the “showroom” look. So we talked about clutter, what was for her important to keep and what we could do about it. She was concerned about throwing away her things so we decided to pack up the stuff she’s not using and in 6 months we’ll look at doing something with it. This did the trick! She cleared out her room in no time at all. In 6 months, I don’t plan on showing her the packed up things but, rather asking if she still wants it. I’m hoping its a case of out of sight, out of mind!

How great that your daughter took the initiative to get it all done herself! I think you might be right with the out of sight out of mind!
