I hadn’t been into a Centerlink Office since I was 18 ( over 10 years ago) and so I asked my friend if it had changed much or not? When I used to go, there were times when I had to wait for 4 hours!! She said it was still the same…This particular day, I had another appointment to go to but I had over an hour and half before I had to be there. I thought I would risk my chance and thought if it takes too long I will just have to come back. I walked in, waited in line for about 3 minutes before talking to someone. They took my papers, copied what they needed and said that was it! I could not believe my luck, I was in and out of Centerlink in 5 minutes!
To top off my great day with appointments, my following appointment was at the docs (who also have the long waiting times) only lasted 5 minutes! Receptionist said I should buy a scratchie but I didn’t want to push my luck too far!
