I’m from Europe and married to Australian. I just hate having Christmas over here when is sooo hot. I don’t feel the atmosphere at all. Christmas should be cosy and icy cold with snow. Don’t get me wrong my kids are happy and that’s the most important to me but I think that everyone should experience Christmas in winter and feel the magic. I really do miss it. Even watching Home Alone, the whole movie is in show.

I struggled with the transition too. Although in the uk Christmas isn’t really in the snow, but I missed the winter vibe. It is very different in Australia. My kids don’t know any different, one day I would love them to have a white Christmas
