Clean floors no more! - Real Mum story on MoM

I had a rare morning where I was able to catch up on some housework. Since it had been so long I decided to mop and vacum the floors. I had just finished when bub woke from her mid-morning nap. I went to change her fully loaded, number two, very messy nappy. I have no idea how it happened but, somehow the soiled nappy fell from my hands and landed poo side down upon my beautifully cleaned floors! I guess it’s lucky we have floorboards and not carpet!

Dusting is probably my most hated household chore. I have dark furniture and dust is easily seen. No sooner have I dusted furniture etc when next day there is a light film of dust again. Arghhh!

Ha ha ha very lucky it’s floor boards and not carpet. That’s housework for you, as soon as you finish, it’s time to start again

yep and then the kids get older and it is harder to keep the floors clean

Also it is so refreshing to find someone who looks at the best side of the coin.
The poo down scenario is just like when you drop a peanut butter sandwich it nearly always lands messy side down. lol. Any how at least it was not to difficult to clean up, would be rather a nightmare with carpet I agree.
