Coffee in bed!

My husband doesn’t make the big grand romantic gestures such as dinner out or big buches of roses but, he does show me that he loves me in many, small and caring ways. He (nearly) always makes me a coffee in the morning, will take the clothes off the line if he notices rain, where possible, take/pick up the kids from activities, cook the odd dinner and vaccum the floor. Yes, I’d love to go dinner and get flowers but, overall, I think, I’ll take my coffee in bed!

Appreciation of the small things helps them to continue happening and it is those small things that makes life easier. I’m happy with not having to mop.

Aw sweet. My husband is similar. He’ll mop the floors while I put the baby to bed. Yes grand gestures are nice, but at the end of the day they wouldn’t mean much if he never helped out. I love that my husband does life well.
