Crumpets are so good except for the ton of butter l put on them!

I enjoy crumpets, but many times once it is open the next day the top part goes a bit hard. I even wrap them up very well in plastic wrap but alas , no success and it is a waste of money to experience this . It must be the certain ingredients , but I haven’t bought them for a long time now and buy soft bread instead .

crumpets are a childhood fav of mine and I just wish they were as thick as they use to be

For dessert just add ice cream and drizzle some chocolate!

Me too. I’m so boring- I just usually opt for loads of butter and vegemite. Lots of different things I can try now.
