We went to the cinemas today to see dragon 2. When they sung a song during the movie our 18 month grandson started singing out loud. Then to top it off when the father got hurt my other grandson 3 yelled out loud stop stop fighting. People just turned around to us. Then when they were seeing to the father he yelled out alright alright. I thought he was going to cry. Both boys were glued to the cinema screen. Then he hogged the buttered popcorn and we got only a small amount

  • Its a great movie that not only holds their attention but inspires them to be interactive….love it! I wouldn’t worry about the popcorn, my husband never gets a look in!

  • That’s not bad, my daughter gets very protective of her popcorn, at least that sat through it. Don’t be embarrassed they are little

  • Some of my fondest memories as a youngster was perching up on a chair at the cinema watching some animated movie.

  • Sounds like they enjoyed it… it is a kids’ movie, people should have understood!

    • I think people did understand. It was our first time taking them. The kids got so involved in the storyline

  • I loved your story and can relate to this with our Grandson. It just shows how caring and sensitive they are and it also sound like a fun day was had by all even if you were embarrassed .

  • Sounds like they had a great time at the movies. My little girl got up and danced in the aisle at one movie when she was about 3. It was so cute. I didn’t mind that s others looked, most thought she was cute too. They are just being kids, they obviously got very involved in the movie, and next time, buy two small popcorns, one for them to share and one for you.

  • It’s only natural for people to turn around which I’s assuming would’ve been other kids to find out who was singing etc. Don’t worry about it. It was a great movie that had my two boys enthralled too. They also hogged all the popcorn!

    • It was a great movie for little ones. They sing and dance at home all the time.

  • Aww he sounds like he has a sensitive little nature. Perhaps you might have wanted your seat to swallow you up at the time, but later down the track it’s a good story to remember and tell them :)
