First family holiday - Real Mum story on MoM

Today I returned home from our first family holiday to port douglas Queensland. It was only five nights but it was amazing! Our first family holiday and first holiday I have had in three year! After struggling to fall pregnant and then going through ivf and very luckily falling pregnant it was a wonderful break that was much needed! My daughter had her first flight and was an angel! She also experienced her first trip to the beach which scared her a little bit at first but soon loved it! She also had her first ice cream (which went everywhere!!), her first boat trip to an island and her first sleep in a hotel! It was a great bonding time also for my husband and I who have had a rough couple of years and after a terrible birth (emergency c section and losing 4 litres of blood) and no sleep for the first few months I think we needed some time away to relax without the pressures of work, housework and bills! Beautiful memories made and hopefully we can have many more wonderful family holidays

i lost lots of bloody 2 during my c section. it takes it out of you emotionally
