Hello!

My little girl is very excited and cannot wait for next week to hurry up and start. You see her first swimming lessons start on monday and I think she might burst with excitement. We go to the local pool a fair bit but it’s time to learn properly. She has even asked if she can start packing her swimmers, goggles and towel into her new swim bag.
I hope that her excitement and love of being in the water continues over the years, so that she can enjoy the water as much as I do.

  • My son was nervous in the pool when he started around 8-9 after he realised he wasn’t always going to held in the water and had to swim himself . He cried, shaked , and even vomited in the lessons. But we persevered with the teachers and after a few weeks he swam and even made it to squads. So don’t give up if your child starts off hard , it is a life saving sport and is worth the effort .

  • That’s beautiful! I hope her love of the water continues too. It’s fun and also important to know water safety. I had so much fun with my 2 in the water

  • I started swimming lessons with my little girl when she was 6 months old – she is now 3 and still sinks like a stone, hahahaa! But she absolutely loves her swimming lessons :)

  • My daughter does swimming lessons and she loves them too – it is so great to see her excited and happy to be in the water and also reassuring to know that she is learning how to swim and be safe in and around the water too.
