Maybe they are thinking the same thing.
I know what you mean though. Some people only contact you when they want a favour….or it suits them. I have some relatives like that too. Every while I feel like I am just a convenience, until after a few times if I get fed up after being shown no consideration I give them a good talking to.

Yes, sometimes it’s good to do this. I feel that some friends can take advantage of a good natured person.

Sometime we need to do these kind of things to find the real friends.

I done something similar myself not too long back. Isn’t it amazing how long it can be before these ‘friends’ contact you? and yes it’s generally because they want something. Just tired of being the one to reach out, be there or maintain connections they are a two way street people!

  yes it is time consuming trying to mediate a friendship that is one-sided really.

Friendships can be tricky and sometimes people do lose contact for periods of time.
