  • It’s just a phase.. Sometimes when we eat out I’m sure others think we’re depriving our toddler! Always a bowl of plain rice with nothing Else! But that’s what he likes!

  • Happens to lots of people – I just persisted till they eventually got interested in food again.

  • My daughter went through a cheese only stage from 18 months to 3 years, very annoying, even when going to Hungry Jacks or McDonald’s all she wanted was cheese (the counter staff were brilliant HJ’s charges 25 cents per cheese slice McDonald’s 50 cents). I tried everything to get her to eat something other than cheese, I made mac n cheese and hid cauliflower in it, I made cheese sauce to cover chicken nuggets. Yes it is a stage and they grow out of it, doesn’t make it any less frustrating.

  • It’s very common with toddlers.
keep offering a small amount of a variety of foods. Talk about the colours of foods they are eating. Keep mealtimes stress free by not hastlying them to eat
