Hello!

I’m only 32 and had a very tough year last year and sort of started going grey more rapidly. That doesn’t worry me, as I realise that it’s natural and happens to everyone. What is more annoying is my eyebrows started off with just one or two that I could pluck out, but now I seem to have loads that are noticeable. I got them tinted but I think that just made it worse because the tint was darker than my natural and when it started to fade they greys were more noticeable. I will just go for pencil I think from now on and stop pulling them out. What I don’t like is the texture of them- they seem to stick up and are unruly. Oh well, I know it’s a trivial thing, just shocked at how quickly it happened.

  • I don’t have grey hair at this stage but the time will come!

  • I have never thought of my eyebrows, that doesn’t seem to be where my grey hairs are arriving

  • Mine too! I’ve plucked and plucked for years and years. My brows are so thin! But I keep having to pluck the ones that just won’t lay down! I’m worried when I’ll have none left, I know the day is coming

  • Life in general passes us by quickly. The saying that youth is wasted on the young is so true. I wish I had my time again and know what I know now!

  • I think there is gel for eyebrows that tame unruly hairs. Pencilling everyday is not so bad, nor colouring. Maybe it is not the actual grey that is annoying but the fact that you’re feeling older. Now are have joined the majority who conceal the greys.

  • Honestly, you notice is more than anyone else. It happens to most people. I’ve got a couple that just fly off in different directions and are thicker than the rest. And when you pluck them out, they just keep coming back and multiplying. The only thing I have found that helps is regularly letting the professionals to it instead of myself. They seem to control it better than I can.

  • If your only 32…..theres more to come. I don’t think any of us realise just how quickly the years pass. One day everything works and the next you can’t read anything without wearing glasses. Its as quick as that. The grey hair is just another part of it…..At least the men can go with the George Clooney look. No such luck for us women!

  • Isn’t wasn’t my eyebrows that started going grey rapidly, nor was it the hair on my head…

  • I stopped dyeing my hair when pregnant with my first, and was horrified by how grey I’d gone without even noticing.

  • I started going grey at 21! For those pesky (now white) eyebrow hairs that pop up I just pluck them out and use a soft pencil on my brow.

  • you just have to wait until they are replaced by the softer regular ones. in the mean time you can use scissors and trim but the hair salon that i worked in did a few beauty treatments so they recommend to only start trimming if you need it because if you start, you’ll have to keep doing it.

i think that you should buy an eyebrow brush and use it and lightly spray hairspray on the hairs. if you are using an eyebrow pencil, use it first, brush and spray. it will look good

    • Hairspray is a great idea! I have this clear gel stuff with a mascara like wand on it but I think it sort of moves the pencil colour a bit. A light spray is a great idea.
