I would just like to share my recent holiday. We went to Hamilton Island and had a great time it is well set up for kids and teens. The reef hotel was big and catered well for families offering different room combinations and the breakfast buffet which was included in our price was enormous! The kids loved the pancakes, there was beach activities which again were included in our hotel booking which was fantastic so we did kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing and windsurfing. ( these we’re tide dependant) then on the other side if the island they had go carts, quad bikes, golf driving range and shooting which were fun but expensive so would only do a few times. There was a free shuttle bus around the island which was good or you could hire golf buggies which were fun too. Some holiday houses and apartments had a buggy as part of their deal as it is quite a hilly island. They had lots if activities from 9 pin bowling, mini golf, bingo, kids club to fishing, jet boat rides and Great Barrier Reef tours (all extra cost). Jetstar and virgin both fly to the island or you can get a ferry. We had a great time!
