Hello!

during my pregnancy, i put on around 20kgs, but never eaing junk food. so it was all eally a healthy diet, and i didnt look big at all. but other onlookers had different opinions.

“oh you have put on so much weight” “oh , you’re big.”, even, “wow, youre fat”.

no, i am pregnant!!!!

i was all stomach anyway, but i guess i used to be a small person, so they saw otherwise.

i am nearly at my original weight, i have a few kilos to go.

im not too worried about the number on the scales, just worried about the saggy bits of my stomach and thighs…and bum. :)

but the main thing is i continue my healthy eating of a varied diet, and try to exercise at the same time.

hopefully, i achieve my goal.

but my babys health comes first, as i am still breastfeeding.

im eating healthy, im not fat

  • Once when I was in hospital the Maternity Ward was literally overflowing so they had some of the Mums in the general ward I was in. When they brought one of the Mums down after the birth they brought the same scales down with them and re-weighed her. Just as well they checked her weight twice both times. She weighed more after the birth of her baby after than before. None of us could believe it so they went and found another set of scales. Same reading. The baby has ….stretched….you. People can’t expect you to
    shrink….quickly.

  • There is so much emphasis put on women’s weight after giving birth. Our bodies have been through so much, treat them kindly!
