Is your hair dry and dull? Do you have split ends and frizz? Have you tried almost all the hair products but still have the same problem? Well the good news is that there’s an easy solution for you! Hair can be damaged quite easily, but it takes a little longer to repair it. And a lot of women are just tired of using a whole range of products that do not change anything, but the thing is only few of women know that there are a lot of natural methods that can be used to replace all these unnecessary products! Now you won’t need any of those products because the olive-oil formula will do the job. The ingredients that you will need are not more than half a cup of olive oil, 5 drops of frankincense essential oil ( you can use other essential oil fragrances if you prefer), and finally one plastic bag that you will need to cover your hair. Now, how to do it? This is the simplest way you’ve ever probably used. First pour olive oil into a jar with a lid, and then add the essential oil. Put the lid securely on the jar and shake well to disperse the essential oil. Keep it for 24 hours in a cool, dark place. Shake again before you use it. Also make sure you rinse your hair with warm water before you start applying it to your hair. Now take 1 tablespoon of oil treatment in the palm of your hands, and start gently massaging the oil into the scalp in a circular motion using your fingertips. Do it again until the entire scalp has been massaged. Rub the ends of your hair with the remaining oil. After you are done, place a plastic bag over your hair, and wait for half-hour before you can take it off. Finally you get to rinse your hair well and shampoo it as usual. And there you have it … soft and silky hair without paying a small fortune for “salon treatments”.

  • Interesting wouldn’t your hair look a bit oily afterwards, Mine is very thin

    • If you wash your hair with a good shampoo, and really rinse it well, especially with reasonably hot water, then there shouldn’t be any oily residue left on your hair. Just silky smooth hair.

  • Can I ask how long it takes to get the olive oil out of your hair?

    • Using a good-quality shampoo and hot water, I shampoo my hair twice after leaving the oil in for an hour. Providing you really work the shampoo through your hair, and rinse it well, you shouldn’t have any oily residue left after washing. And depending on how much hair you’ve got, an old-fashioned shower cap may be better than a plastic bag while the oil is on your hair.
