How do you start your day? Do you jump up straight out of bed and just get into it? Or take it nice and slow, easing into the day? I’ve notice with my two kids, I’ve got one of each! One will just get up and start moving, the other, I’ve learnt to allow time for them to wake up!

  • I’m mostly a jump, out of bed and get into kind of person. Winter slows me down a bit, I’m a bit slower getting up. My kids are like that. A bounce of the walls type 24/7 and a cruiser take it as it comes type. Hard to believe you’ll get 2 such different kids when they have the same parents and the same environment. The dna factor I guess

  • I wake up early in the morning, around 5, and yes.. I start immediately doing something. Preparing lunchboxes, breakfast, feeding the dog, starting the washing machine… I love mornings. It’s the time of the day I do more stuff.

  • I am a procrastinator in winter, in summer I am out of bed straight away. My daughter is and has always been straight out of bed (sometimes way too early and I have to tell her to go back to sleep until at least 5am). My son seems to be the same, but its early days yet…

  • I am normally up and about straight away, and my 5 year old daughter is the same. My second daughter is only 9 months she seems to be up and about all the time! :-)

  • Depends on the day! Sometimes I am up and full of energy ready to go and other days I like to be a bit lazy and snuggle in
