Re: Real insurance still can not find my hubby’s policy so now we had to fax his bank statements to them I just wanted to fax the payment part but no he had to fax all his bank details so now I’m going to ring on Monday and I bet they didn’t get them I did write a note with it explaining what’s happening and wanting a refund all it says us 14 days cooling off period after that $30.00 but you don’t get yr money back anyway so why the $30.00 I’m not letting this go but will update after phone calls on Monday

  • I would also be checking into them taking your money for a policy they say he didn’t have and all the payments payed in this time check with fair trading about it as this as to where you stand

  • I am a little confused by this part of your insurance company posts. Are you saying you have 14 days to cool off and after that is it $30 a month but they won’t refund the $30? If you are in your cooling off period, exercise that right and cancel the direct debit and ask for a refund of any amounts paid


    • real Insurance cont: they give a cooling of period then after that it’s $30.00 to cancel but give no refund at all have spoken for the third time to seven ppl so far I think I’m lucky there but now I’m in the fax department so we cancelled the direct debit which was due in the 4th so now waiting for letter to ask why direct debit was cancelled but they still can not find policy so this week we get an answer or I will now take it further I ring each Friday but alas they say they didn’t get fax but agree we sent it to right fax number

  • it makes no sense that they will give you $30…a cooling off period is one thing but when there has been an error that does not apply (not as far as I can see anyway).
