I have been teaching swimming for almost a term now and I love it.
I enjoy working with kids so much. I am very suprised and how many of them lack confidence and I’m doing everything I can to build that confidence.
I had one young girl who was so afraid to put her face in the water, and she has improved so much.
On Friday her mum told me that her daughter had fallen off a house boat, into the water and instead of panicking, she got herself to safety very quickly and calmly.
That made me so proud and I told her so.
That’s what makes teaching swimming all worthwhile

I am glad that you were able to teach that girl to swim and that she was able to swim to safety.

I wish you could give little awards occasionaly for special efforts for special kids. People like you teach kids how to save themselves when its really needed.

Learning to swim is so important when you live on an island surrounded by water! Being an instructor must be a rewarding job.
