Kiera is two and a bit ,her birthday is in July. She was born with no bottom … She had reconstruction at eight weeks.. Now her bottom is leaking and she started to pass through her cervix. Wow..this little girl has been through so much .. Well yesterday she had enough. She was admitted to Randwick children and they put her to sleep filled her with dye to find the leaks they also check her bowel pressure by filling her with air… We asked that when she woke her mummy could be there as she is terrified of strangers. And hates white sheets.. Why would anyone listen.. Children’s hospital they know best .. So poor little Kiera screamed arching her back for two hours with us trying to calm her down .. She told us it hurts. But no panadole was given as its only given every six hours .. Yeah right it says four hourly on the bottle.. It’s the first time we every had a issue in the two years we had been going there.. Yes the nurses where nice asking Kiera if she wanted a ice block NO was her answer. .. Oh dear. Would you likea cheese sandwich. Oh she took this. To throw at her nurse. Oops. Wow our little grand daughter was having her first hissy. And she out did her self… You might asked how we got on… Nothing. We are back on Friday for a ultrasound and a MRI. Now you might ask why they didn’t,t do this while she was out … We asked the same question. We NO reply. .. Is it us. Or is something wrong.. When a big hospital cannot do all it needs to do in one day. As not to add extra stress to a child with special needs … I swear by the care. Of Randwick children’s. one bad day does not make for a bad hosiptal but the nurse that got in Kiera’s face well she kept smiling even after me two threw her sandwich her juice and screamed till she was blue in the face.. But next time I will carry panadole myself.. This is the only problem I have that she should not of been in pain…the photoes are photoes of Kiera . So we are doing it all again on Friday…
