I was dreading the call but it had to come. My grandmother had been having trouble for a few weeks and one day lost the ability to care for herself. She had her wits about her almost up to the end. She was very lucky. No major health issues, 5 great kids, 11 grand kids and 8 great grand kids. I will miss her phone calls. I would call her every few weeks and she could talk for 2 hours before complaining her throat was dry. She did some amazing stuff in her life. I told her I was expecting my third baby and she said I’ll have to stick around for that. Little did I know within two months of my baby being born she would be gone. She was my best friend and I will miss her.
